I Was just wondering is that possible that dumbledore made a horcrux of himself? so that even if he dies then he can survive and help harry fight voldy?

yes it can be possible but one thing just differs

you have to kill somebody to make a horcrux of urself..

Horcruxes are such a dark magic that even books of Dark Magic refuse to talk about them...

As Hagrid or someone else once said "Dumbledore is too noble to use the dark arts"...

Moreover, if one has a horcrux, the person does not really die but has a half life, "a cursed life"...like the one LV is leading now...

So, to conclude, I dont think Prof. D has a horcrux.

i don't think dumbledore would do that....we wasn't afraid of death..he accepted it as a fact of life

Dumbledore will never make a horcrux for himself because immortality was never his dream and he didn't fear death. He allowed himself to be killed by Snape for some reason which we will know in book seven. Remember, he told Malfoy that it was his mercy what matter's rather than Draco's.
