i dont think so
coz dumbledore has said that seperating the part of soul is very much wrong and he would never ever do that
so i dont think he for 1 do that to be alive
he says that there r worse things than being dead....

hey this was atheory, earlier proposed in a forum, and the mainstay of this theory is that dumbledore has killed someone,as for horcrux the fundamental thing is u have to kill.
now never in any book jk has mentioned that dumbledore has killed someone.
only in i guess book 1 ,it is mentioned that dumbledore defeated a dark wizard named grindlewald(i don't know abt the spelling).so defeated........not killed.
now only if u assume that defeated means killed, then can u only say that dumbledore killed, and at that time because that was way before voldemort ,did foresee ,the necessity of creating a horcrux

Your theory though commendable in thinking lacks in planning... there are many things in the theory that don't fit.

  1. You say it is easy to make a Hocrux: Truth is it is a very complex and a part of very advanced of the Darkest of Dark Magic, in which by use of an incantation / spell it is possible to conceal a part of a soul into an inanimate object.

  2. You say Dumbledore has killed many DEs: Truth is the books do not have one documented proof of Dumbledore even capturing a DE let alone kill sumone. Please note here however that I know that Dumbledore was (:sob:) one of the most accomplished wizard wizard-kind knew. He may or may not have killed any DEs or for that matter Grindlewald. but that will always remain speculation. Also his talk with Voldemort in the Atrium at the MoM, suggests otherwise. I'll give you a quote to help you out here .
Dumbledore flicked his own wand the force of the spell
that emanated from it was such  ;that Harry, though shielded
by his golden guard, felt his hair stand on end as it
passed and this time Voldemort was& nbsp;forced to conjure
a shining silver shield out of  ;thin air to deflect it.
The spell, whatever it was, caused& nbsp;no visible an damage to
the shield, though a deep, gong-lik e note reverberated from
    it - oddly chilling sound.

'You do not seek to kill me,&n bsp;Dumbledore?' called Voldemort, his s carlet eyes
narrowed over the top of the s hield. 'Above such brutality, are y ou?'

'We both know that there are o ther ways of destroying a man,  ;Tom,' Dumbledore
said calmly, continuing to walk tow ards Voldemort as though he had not a fear
in the world, as though nothing&nbs p;had happened to interrupt his str oll up the hall.

'Merely taking your life would not& nbsp;satisfy me, I admit....'

'There is nothing worse than death, Dumbledore!' snarled Voldemort.

'You are quite wrong,' said Dumbled ore, still closing in upon Voldemor t and
speaking as lightly as though they& nbsp;were discussing the matter over drinks.
Please note here that Dumbledore repeatedly does not try to kill Voldemort though he's within grasp. It surely means sumthing.

  3. And lastly... Dumbledore does not seem like a person, who would or could kill a person. it wouldn't fit with the story.

These all are assumptions which I think are very high to make... hence I do not agree with your idea that Dumbledore could have made a hocrux.

Are you kidding?

In the HP series...Dumbledore is the grandfather figure..he is the person who represents, truth, justice, respect and one of the most important things...respect.

And do you think that by showing Dumbledore as killing someone(agreed he may have but I am sure he would NOT have got ANY pleasure from it) and moreover making a horcrux out of it?

It goes against what all DD has stood for..for me and millions of other readers!

I don think so, it never mentioned even once in the HP books that Dumbby has killed someone. So, I think it is really absured. But, theories r theories maybe that could happen.
