its a hard Q, bez every book is not equally descriptive or equally plotted.

but i really liked how close they got with the first book.👏.and from then on they had the sets or idea of how it looks...and i also liked the askaban book-movie...the change should be welcomed😉😆👏

amu~

I would say Goblet of Fire coz I really felt they went as per the book a lot of the times and changed very little and deleted scenes which they absolutely had to.

The whole movie was just wow n left me ravin coz of the simple fact that they followed the book! They increased poor ron's role instead of the idiotic comic role he was given in PoA and hence PoA remains my least favourite HP movie ever.

There was also no Marauder backstory or flashback in it!

The first two movies did some justice to the books.

One wouldnt be able to appreciate PoA(which incidentally is my favourite HP book till date) much if one watches the film prior to reading the book, infact the movie failed to capture the finer nuances of the book, and the most important points were discarded much to many HP fans' chagrin The Marauders were one of many many aficionados' favourite characters, and the film presented a mightily unsatisfactory depiction of them😭

GoF did manage to succeed in adapting the three triwizard tasks to celluloid to perfection, but again ALOT of details were omitted(the character Ludo Bagman, the entire plot of Mr.Crouch's being Imperiused and his subsequent escape and murder,Rita Skeeter's rumours, the entire explanation Dumbledore offers about the Priori Incantatem,Fudge and Dumbledore's argument etc etc)

I enjoy reading the books more than watching the films, and am hoping Warnerbros dont botch up OOTP Book 5 is the lengthiest, and I dread to think what all points and facts the movie would chose to ignore 😭

I think except for CoS no movie did justice to the books..... sad to say but that is an acceptable point when you consider movies based on books. as you can't incorporate everything that is written in a book onto 70mm cinema as you can't cramm everything in a book into 3 hrs.
