perdon my spelling mistake , but this is one of the topic which doesnt have much focus ...

1. i think voldemort is an extremely able wizard , who can certainly identify priori incantetum ... so i guess he suspects the wand core matter, which is why he kidnapped the wand maker to fix his want in case such situation doesnt happen again with harry

ps : good to be back ... in case no one remembers me, i used to post here a lot ages ago

well didnt he kidnapp him because he was the greatest wandmaker so he was an advantage to dumbeldore and so therefore he kidnapped him to use his wands for his own armys use!

It's not confirmed yet if he was kidnapped or if he just went into hiding.

JK Rowling didnt specify anything, all we know is that he's missing n i remember reading something like "there was no sign of a struggle" so it is kind of implied that he was not kidnapped.

We'll probably find out in the next book though, but u made a good observation about how him missing could be linked to something tht has to do with harry and voldy's wand :D

Really good theory snape,
I was playing around with words and annograms and i discovered this annogram:

Ollivander
Anevillord

Could "An evil lord" as an annogram of Olivander mean any thing important
JKR proved that annograms were important in COS because of I am Lord Voldemort being an annogram of Tom Marvallo Riddle.

Could this be an important part of the plot of DH. This is just my theory so im probably way off.
what do you think?

Oh yes, Bhanu, that is so intersting.... very intersting and come to think of it... yeah you do have a point there abt annograms, as regards to Ollivander, may be not the man who sold the wand to harry , but may be his grandparents or so , who may have sold the wand may have been connected to Salazar Slytherin or something and hence the name Ollivander which as you pointed comes out to be An evil lord?? Am I making sense..

May be Ollivanders was started of by salazar slytherin or his descendents or some pure bloods connected to him... and now voldermort seeks that this pure blood family joins them as was pointed by some in this forum , that reason why ollivander vanished suddenly?

Am I making sense... oh well I seem to thinking too far 😕
