harry has 2 die in da end otherwise people will keep on making more harry potter stories

I think that u might be true but think about it this way. The profercy states that "one cant live while the other lives"(refering to Harry n Voldmort). So if Harry dies then Voldy lives n I don think that, that is a huge possibility. N it's not like that Harry kills voldy n after that he just gets killed in a car crash or something.
Think about it, we have no clue yet what will happen, but we can always guess.

And no, He doesn't have to die.... in fact I really don't want him to..!! Like Aastha ji said, one will live and the other will be dead.... I really think Harry will defeat Voldy in the end.

I don't think he has to die....

Even i feel Harry has to die as JK Rowling herself has said that two important characters die, and we all know she does not want to continue the story and wants the 7th Part to be the last part. However if Harry is alive people would start publishing books on his after life which Jk Rowling does not want. 😳

Agree with Aastha and Ammmu on this aspect! What eventually will happen is what JKR will decide to do with Harry's character... but well there are several hints to justify the death of Harry , even if she knocked him off in the end , and if she dosent , well its too predictable ain't it? But in no way , is it necessary for her to kill Harry off, because of a series of books that might be requested as a sequel to the first series.... I think some series are better over... and remembered that way!

i dont think she will kill harry becuaz then people will be getting really madd at JKR....i think that voldemort and maybe hagrid will die....becauz fairy tales always end good...and this is a sort of a fantsay book...so maybe voldemort will die!! we already noe that 2 people will die or maybe thats a rumor? letz just wait for the book 2 come out!!! ooo and sana it comes out on the 21st not the 7th!!!
