I think Harry and Voldemort will kill each other in the final battle. I know the prophecy says one can't live while the other lives, but it doesnt say that one of them will necessarily live!

I think JK Rowling is not your happy ending author and might kill Harry to end the series effectively.

O.k a grown up point of view - See Scholastic as a company is not doing very well !!!As of now they have a contract with Rowling that ends with the 7th book .To Scholastic , Potter series is a cash cow . To leave all possibilities of revival of the series open ......they won't kill Harry off !!!! Yes they haven't commited anything about revival.............but think from the business point of view . It will be advisable for Rowling not to close all doors of possibilty and give the book a complete finality !!

yah that would be the smart thing to do. just leave us wondering like we are now lol. well i hope the series does not end but continues or just end with a happy ending *Harry and Ginny living happily ever after with a few children.. one named Sirius, the other possibly James, and a girl named Lily* lolz or may be not.. i just don't want him to die. I do hope scholastic manages to convince rowling 2 leave an open ending.

OMG i dont think he'll die, he has to live! and if he does be any chance, it will just ruin the whole story in my opinion!

JKR has never, I repeat, never confirmed the theory that Harry will die. She would never give away something as important. The most she has said on this matter is that the trio will live till the 7th year - at the end of the 7th year (around the time of the "final battle", I presume) anything can happen. Anyone can die.

Personally, I think Harry will survive, and Ron will die. I think Ron will die saving Harry and Hermione - a heroic death. He has always been shunted to the side, and it would make a very nice ending for him to die heroically, for his friends.

That presumption is somewhere on top of the list of "What I Think Will Happen In Book Seven". I'm almost sure of it, yet I would hate for that to happen. Isn't it horrible when you have this gnawing feeling that something's going to happen, you're almost sure of it, but you definitely don't want it to happen? Yeah, I'm kind of feeling like that now. I love Ron, possibly more than I love Harry (*dodges the curses sent out by Harry lovers*). I still love Harry, yeah, but Ron more so.

Anyway, yeah, I don't really have proof for it, but just suspicion.

lets not get too carried away but then again if dumbledore can die then there's a chance that harry can die too even he said that goin to hogwarts now is worthless..man this sux
