Solution

Helpful in the time of need

It helped Harry get through potions and taught him new spells

Though all weren't happy with the deed

Hermione dispproved of Harry following those intructions, consdering it cheating

Not all was good, to a mistake it did lead

Harry made a mistake by attacking Malfoy with Sectumsempra spell, whose use he didn't know

Feelings changed when truth was revealed

When Harry discovered that Snape was the Half-Blood prince, his feelings regarding the book changed

The first and the last words spoken were the same,

It was 'Harry Potter'. When Dobby was introduced in CoS, his first words were Harry Potter sir.

Helping hand at the start did more damage

Becoz of Dobby, Harry got a warning, He cud not pass the 9 3/4 barrier. and then the bludger.

Then he helped Harry with second task, in finding Room of Requirement, informing about Umbridge coming, spying on Malfoy and in the end, he saved the trio, luna, dean, Griphook, Mr. Ollivanders.

An exception it was, but it was new change.

he was an exception as a free elf which was a new change.
