I'll explain how i arrived at bat.

first letter of brooms. found inside hogs head...so inside hag Lolz. and used to clean.

second letter:first letter of animals. breathing things around. animals breathe and are around.

third letter:first letter of Troll. which is use lowest grade. and maybe a troll walks with pounding steps. didn't understand the pounding clue.
