TODAY IN THE WORLD OF HARRY POTTER- July
31st.
1947- Richard Griffiths is born. Known as
Vernon Dursley in the films.
1965- Joanne 'Kathleen' Rowling, is born. The
woman who made all this possible.
1980- Harry James Potter is born.
1991- A giant bearded man, we know to be
Rubeus Hagrid tells Harry Potter he is a
wizard.
1992- Harry see's Dobby for the first time,
watching from the hedge at 4 Privet Drive.
1993- Aunt Marge arrives at Privet Drive and
causes Harry to have a hell-ish week.
1994- Harry receives cakes and sweets from
his best friends Ron and Hermione, along
with Sirius Black and Rubeus Hagrid.
1995- Harry receives boxes of Honeydukes
sweets from Ron and Hermione, but throws
them away because he is angry from not
receiving any news for several weeks.
1996- Harry celebrates his 16th birthday at
the Burrow, while Remus Lupin informs of
more Dementor attacks and Igor Karkaroff's
body is found in a shack up north.
1997- Harry becomes of age and a birthday
party is held at the Burrow. Ginny Weasley
and Harry Potter share their first kiss. Minister
for Magic Rufus Scrimgeour crashes the party
and gives Harry, Ron, and Hermione objects
from Albus Dumbledore's will.
