Another small thing in approach2(pls guys its only my opinion and i mean absolutely no offense) is that one may inadvertently look up answers to other riddles too! Will explain how-
the answer portion begins page75 onward. Each page on indiaforums incorporates only 8 posts(you all would know this), irrespective of the size. My understanding is that approach2 proposes to provide an answer to a riddle per post. So lets say i want to view the answer to riddle4 only. The answer link will lead me to page75(as links are pagewise and not postwise) which is hosting answers to eight riddles. I will have to browse down until the fourth post to view the desired answer. In doing so there is a undisputed probability that i might unintentionally view answers to riddles 1,2 and 3(appearing on 1st, 2nd and 3rd posts of page75) as naturally i cant shut my eyes while scrolling down as i wont know where to stop!
fortunately, approach1 eliminates such accidental viewing.

Me too...busy with something at the moment. But dropped in to say that both the approaches are brilliant and have actually been very well thought out. Let's see how we can incorporate the best of both. Seriously got to go now though. Hoping to see more wonderful insights when I'm back. And will give my views too.

guys i really am superconfused now...you guys decide what to do...just inform me..i should do what..and i will take care of things single handedly if it needs to be..

but NOW am not in right state of mind to process and weigh pros and cons of both approaches..

so i will go with the consensus...

but my services are always there...and am bankable...you guys can as AL..

@ani what i meant by the link of answer was post wise not page wise...you can ask Al what i mean..the format i had PMed her i think its APT...and it will not accidentally reveal other answers...

i had sent her in this format...

But I reckon That This Very Thread is Okay ...we have 4 consecutive posts on Ist page ( of mine & Alyesha ) ...we can just edit them . Idea of separate threads for riddle , answers & then clues doesn't appeal to me !! This thread would look really nice If having everything right here ( In a nice manner Ofcourse ) As even Some Actor's or Couple's thread are this way ...even they manage hundreds of IV links, VMs, Scenes, & other stuff in one thread BUT in Consecutive posts of 1st page :)

1st post - Intro, Link to Previous Thread, & pics & all, like its now :)

From 2nd Onwards we can start Our Index ( As for It getting Cumbersome , I am sure We can handle around 100 or more riddles in 3 posts & That'd be enough I think as after 150 we'll have another thread ) & it would look Nice if done with perfect Layout...

In the manner which Rudy suggested

S. no - Riddle Hyperlink & Riddle itself

Hints ( & NOT their links ) It would save the chance that Anyone will come across other answers while browsing hints...which clearly will be many :)

& Answer 's Link only

& Rudy ...though I agree there is a chance , But Very few pages are such which contain answer to 2 or more riddles Plus when a person is really searching for Answer ...then what he comes across in way slips off mind really easily :)

Okay my views.

I think that both the approaches are really good plus now that Priya mentions it ( Approach 3), I think it best that why don't we merge all the three approaches. It would take a lot of time and labour but it think it will be worth it.

I suggest that why don't we open a separate thread where we can post all the riddles and their answers then update them as we bring new riddles. When we create the next thread for the riddles we can post the links of the new htread that has the riddles and answers and also this thread to the first or second posts in the other new thread we create after we complete 150 pages here.

Illustration:

Completely New topic/thread.-this will have the riddles and links to there answers in each post and as we bring new riddles we update them in this topic/thread.

New Thread as a continuation for this current thread.- we post a link to this topic and a link to the newly created thread that only has riddles and there answers( the one above) in the second or third posts.

This way we wont need to create separate threads or topics for riddle and answers instead one topic will take care of it and we can continue in another thread.😃

What do you guys think?? is it possible or am just too confused??😕

I think that this merges all the three approaches.

Gosh!!😲 we sound like scientists coming up with a new discovery!🤓 HPians rule!!!😎😉😆
