Severus Snape~Lily Evans

As everyone knows, Severus Snape's past is shrouded in mystery. We do not know much about him execpt that his mother was Eileen Prince and his father was Tobias Snape. Not once is it mentioned that he was married..nor fell in love. It is said that he was a very hurt person, and that his father would yell and him and his mother. Making it look like he was unloved.When Severus went to Hogwarts, he hung around students that all of them turned out to be Death Eaters. Which does not give us anything good to say about him. He hated James,Sirius,Remus, and Peter...but what about Lily? She was the only person who stood up for him, besides Albus. Lily was a kind-hearted, loving person who made friends where ever she went, and never made enemies.Well, what if...just if, Severus fell in love with Lily. He never told her because she loved James,and he did not want her to feel obliged to him because everyone was mean to him. What if he loved her always and never told anyone.......what if he still loves her. That is why he has not and will not kill Harry, because he can not close those green eyes forever. Maybe under all the black hair, is a man who loved a girl he could never have...maybe he loves and misses her as much as harry does. What do you guys think?

hey didn't JKR say that snape has been luved by sumone in the past... she didn't specify who ans as to also what kinda love, I mean motherly love, brotherly love or sum other kind. so lets just wait n watch.

Snape looked like a very tragic character ever since his inception in the first book. He is one of those blokes who will always feel like the left one out in any situation and we have seen that in all his scenes in the books/movies.

I also have a strong suspicion that under all that tough and snotty exterior lies a very hurt and lost soul who was deeply in love with Lily Evans while at school and was even more distressed when he found that she eventually fell for a lad who he loathed which was James Potter. Naturally that hatred has now passed on to Harry.

All it comes down to now is waiting for Book 7 for all to be revealed cos I also have this nagging thought that we are going to learn more about Lily Potter.

exactly ! snape called her a mudblood ... and thats why .... i feel its called "snape's worst memory" ... bcuz he hurt the feelings of one person who stood up for him ... and who snape loved ...

otherwise .. i find it weird that a school prank played by james and sirius is called "snape's worst memory" ... i mean surely the actions of his abusive father wud be more painful than that !
