Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has been awarded a role in the second series of Ricky Gervais' Extras. The teenage heartthrob is thrilled Gervais has invited him on board the hit TV series. He says, ""I'm so excited that the night after I got the call I didn't sleep a wink.

""I know nothing about what I'm going to do but it's a great opportunity to do something different.""
