I was watching the 7th HP movie again and i in beginning when Hermione wipes her parents memory clean of her it made me depressed and extremely sad...

i actually preferred how JK Rowling choose to show this, that her parents went into hiding rather than Hermione wipes their memory, but i guess it was for tying up loose ends, or preventing them from forming...

and right after that was the scene where Hedwig dies and i once again became more depressed and than Mad-Eye Moody...

Actually the whole beginning was just sad...

I forgot all the bad things that actually happened in the movie and the books for a while...

but got a little more humor with the 'Im Holey line' though...

Didn't Hermoine wipe her parents' memory of her in the book as well, and have them move to Australia. She had said that when the quest was over she would find them and restore their memories.
I'm 95% sure that's what happened in the book, but I do get your reference that the last book was a bit sad by the character deaths, but it was even more sad with the series ending as a whole.
