DA: How has Harry changed in this film?
Dan: He's a bit more aggressive. Everything in his world has been taken out of his hands, and he can't control it. I think Harry's main thing is he's got nothing to cling onto; Sirius Black is gone, and Dumbledore seems to be losing control
DA: Do you get any inside scoop on what's going to happen with Harry in the last book?
Dan: No, and it's outrageous! (laughs)
DA: They're not going to have Harry go the way of Cedric, are they?
Dan: That would be a very appropriate ending, actually, Harry and Voldemort share the same core in their wands, and I think that's a link. If one has to die, then the other one dies. That's where I see it going, which, if it turns out correct, people will think I'm lying now about (not) knowing. But I genuinely don't know.
DA: Is it hard keeping the movies separate in your mind?
Dan: It does become a blur after a while. I'll say things like.. "Remember that time, in the third movie..." and someone will say,. "Dan, that was the second movie.." One event just blurs into another.
DA: Last question-- What are your plans beyond Harry Potter?
Dan: I want to be an actor. I enjoy doing it, and I have a certain confidence about it that I didn't probably even a year ago.
