Well, since I pretty much like everything that JKR says lol, another gem from one of her interviews....

JKR: "Bigotry is probably the thing I detest most. All forms of intolerance, the whole idea of "that which is different from me is necessary evil." I really like to explore the idea that difference is equal and good. But there's another idea that I like to explore, too. Oppressed groups are not, generally speaking, people who stand firmly together -- no, sadly, they kind of subdivide among themselves and fight like hell. That's human nature, so that's what you see here.
This world of wizards and witches, they're already ostracized, and then within themselves, they've formed a loathsome pecking order."👏

I can't wait for this woman to write another book. But I don't want her to rush, so I guess we will have to wait. 😆

I know! I just can't wait till she writes something new, don't care if it's HP or anything else. (Obviously would love it if she continues HP, but I want something, just something lol.) I really enjoyed the tales of beedle the bard too. 😆

^ Haven't read Beedle The Bard. Did you read the other two books?

If I am not wrong, she is already working for two books - one for child, aimed at a more younger audience than HP (the political fairytale or whatever it was called), and the other for adult (have no clue about that one except that it is not in the fantasy genre). Don't know why I have a feeling that she will come back to the fantasy world she created one day.

I really liked Beedle the bard, my fav story being the Fountain of fair fortune and The Warlock's Hairy heart. Yup, I've read 'Fantastic beasts and where to find them' - nothing special, just has extra info. I havn't read the Quidditch book, not a least bit interested in Quidditch haha.

But wow! That's awesome if she's working on those books, it doesn't really matter if she's writing for a younger/adult audeince cos I'm sure whatever audience it's targeted to, her books will be full of depth and total discussion material. But I do think she wants a break, so we'll have to wait. *sigh*

LONDON - Leading magazine editors on Monday named J. K. Rowling the most influential woman in Britain, judging the Harry Potter author more powerful than Queen Elizabeth II.

Rowling, who has won global fame with her series of popular children's books about the boy wizard, topped the list compiled by editors from the National Magazine Company, which publishes 20 magazines in Britain.

They cited her writing skills, tenacity to succeed and philanthropic nature, said the company.

In second place was pop star turned fashion designer Victoria Beckham -- wife of footballer David Beckham -- with the queen pushed into the third spot.

Other women who made it into the top 10 were Prime Minister David Cameron's wife, Samantha Cameron, and fashion designer Vivienne Westwood.

The list was compiled to mark the centenary of the National Magazine Company whose publications in Britain include Good Housekeeping, Country Living and Harper's Bazaar.

US First Lady Michelle Obama last week topped this year's Forbes magazine list of powerful women, replacing German leader Angela Merkel.

I'm not surprised. She is not just one amazing writer but also an amazing person, or at least that is the impression that I got reading/watcing many of her interviews and news circulating her.

She's another living example of how hard work and dedication really does pay off in the long run.😃
