Emma Watson Takes a Short Cut


Since signing on as a Burberry model, sharing her designer aspirations, and rocking out in music videos with her rumored boyfriend, George Craig, Emma Watson has been stepping up her edgy wardrobe. On Thursday, she took her new look a step further when she showed off a hip new hairstyle.

The "Harry Potter" favorite broke the news herself on her Twitter and Facebook page. "Yes, I cut my hair off a few days ago! I love it -- feels incredible," she wrote. "Hope you like it! x."

The fan reactions range from "U look amazing," to Winona Ryder comparisons -- and, of course, a mild outcry from those who were attached to Watson's Hermione-style long locks.

But at 20, the British star seems to be letting go of that image and moving on from the role she stepped into before she was 10 years old (the saga's next-to-the last film comes out this November). And as with most breakups, looks like the inevitable first thing to go is the hair.

Yeah i know omg I think it doesnt really suite her. I liked her longer hair

um yeah that really doesnt suit her she looks better with long hair
