Remus John Lupin: I love characters who are tortured and have a past. He struggled with who he is and especially the fact that he is a werewolf his whole life. He had to go through heartbreaking amounts of prejudice. Remus still had a great spirit and he stuck with the good side through it all. He's a smart man and a very honest person as well. His whole character in general just has an extra layer of intrigue because he was both soft and solid. I also absolutely love the relationship (whether you take it in as a slash pairing or just friendship) between Remus and Sirius. David Thewliss also does a great job portaying Remus :)
Severus Snape: Once again, another tortured and acharacter with a past. Snape was his own worst enemy. He suffered a great deal growing up in his problematic house sitiuation then he met Lily and she just took him away from it all emotionally. His love for Lily as it was revealed in DH really came full circle with everything he did as a person. Snape was witty, dry humoured, heroic and so much more. Alan Rickman is AMAZING as Snape, gaahhh Alan's voice *drooooool*. Haha, creepy fangirls FTW!

Teachers:
McGonagall: I loved her character. She was a such a strong woman and I love how she wasn't made out be soft and yet she was still really caring and passionate about her students. Like in the part when she talks back to the Carrows.. amazing.
Flitwick: Great teacher and it's still very bittersweet to me that he's the one who beat Dolohov. It's great that he beat him because Doholov killed Lupin (*swells up with tears* haha). But then it's bitter because it's like couldn't Lupin somehow have had his death prevented..
Sprout: I liked her, I hope they bring her in DH Part 2, in the "Sacking of Severus Snape".
Binns: I loved his total cluelessnes over his students. He does seem like a immenesley boring teacher nonetheless.

Characters:
Harry: The hero! He did get annoying with his whole being nosy 24/7 but he's still the hero of the series :)
Hermione: I admire her intelligence and ethics.
Ron: I loved Ron. I like the whole bit in DH when he came back and he was saying that Dumbledore gave him the deluminator because he knew he would leave them but then Harry said Dumbledore gave him it because he knew he'd come back.. so sweet :)
Ginny: Acck, she took me a while to like honestly. She was always overshadowed and seen to me as pathetic.. but as she got older she became more out-spoken, and I'm pretty out-spoken so I connected with that quality of hers.
Twins: I loved them, there were the most consistent comic relief but stuff they come up with is just genius!
Dumbledore: death is but the next great adventure. He's the man, nothing more to say. OOOH, I totally ship Albus/Gellert :).
Voldemort: Haha, he has become my comic relief. He's evil, sadistic, diabolical and pretty much the perfect villian.
Lily: I feel that she let go of Snape too quickly.
James: Accck, I don't see what's so great about him. HONESTLY. Like what is so GREAT about him. Spoiled, smug rich kid who gets the girl.. great moral JK Rowling, great lesson.
Remus: LOVE Remus.
Sirius: Gary Oldman is very awesome first off. I like Sirius but he was no offense to all the billions of Sirius fans really irresponsible but he was a noble man and I must respect that. I didn't cry when he died, i cried after when Harry tried using the two way mirror in ootp. =(
Hagrid: Maybe it's just me, but he got a bit annoying.
Draco: He was a coward and he didn't know better. He grew up around a certain atmosphere and was contrived to believe that pure blood is superior. A pretty interesting character as soon as you hit Half Blood Prince.
Dobby: Annoying in CoS. It was great that he was in Gof, ootp, and hbp too. His sacrifice in DH, oh wow it left me heart broken.
Luna: Luna's so awesome. So off beat and such a fun character.

i know there's like a million more characters, but my fingers are getting tired ahhaaha.
