Have you noticed that Peeves is the one characters who really pulls the reader out of teh intense situation, and the most obvious one is Voldemort's death, when we are all holding our breath taking in the fact the darkest wizard ever has met with his end, its Peeves who suddenly makes you cackle with laughter with his mad lines !!!

Even when harry is caught in situations which would appear anything but funny to anyone who was looking or reading, its peeves who jus lightens it all for a few moments with his mad lines and I really wish, they had shown peeves in the movies too!! But well, we do know, it not always possible to include all characters of a book, in a movie , SIGH!!!
