Riding high on the success of the programmes like Dial One Aur Jeeto and Woh Rehne Wali Mehlon Ki on Sahara One, Percept Picture Company is ready with their latest offering Hare Kkaanch Ki Choodiyan.
The serial stars Mihir Mishra, Swapnil Joshi and Snigdha. The serial follows the unique pattern of a family drama, and yet is spiced with elements of a thriller. It's a story of a simple middle class girl Shyamlee and her gradual transformation into a woman of strength.
A drama-cum- thriller with a difference, the show is full of unexpected twists and turns. The story is woven around love, deceit, revenge, obsession and guilt. It talks about people and their lives which are not how it seems, where love turns into hate and hate turns into love just as quickly.
The afternoon show aimed at the empowered woman of today, shall be telecast from Mondays to Thursdays at 3:30 pm, and will be repeated at 9:30 pm on the same days.
Swapnil Joshi, who plays the role of Siddhant in HKKC, says, "Seriously speaking, like every relationship, marriage needs to be nurtured, pampered, looked after and worked upon. Marriage, I would say, is like a mirror. If you are nice, then the relationship is nice to you."
Snigdha Akolkar, who essays the central character of Shyamalee in HKKC, remarks, "I think you need to share your life with somebody you love and marriage is all about that! It is definitely choodiyan for me."
Mandira Bedi says, "No hathkadiyan please… for me, it is simply Hare Kkaanch Ki Choodiyan. It is not that marriage is a bed of roses or that there are no fights; a lot of work goes into a successful marriage. The success of marriage also depends on whom you get married to. I am married to a wonderful man and I am very lucky."
