Rashmi from HKKC- interview:)

How did you enter the television world?
I did one ad film after which I entered television. My first break was a serial called Intazar on DD.

Tell us something about your character in the serial 'Hare Kanch Ki Chudiyan' telecast on Sahara One?
The story is about two sisters Rashmi and Shashmi. Rashmi is the elder one - the character I portray. She is homely, traditional, good-natured. She and her husband take care of Shashmi as parents because they lost their parents at a young age. The story evolves around Shashmi when she falls in love and shows Rashmi is always there for Shashmi in good times as well as the bad stage of life. Shashmi is in love and wants to get married but Rashmi's husband is against love marriage.

What do you do in your leisure time?
I go out with my friends, watch movies.

What are your current projects on television?
Currently, I am concentrating only on the serial 'Hare Kanch Ki Chudiyan'. Let's see how it works once this serial runs for about five to six months. As the story is evolving around me too much, it is not possible to switch on to other one and go on with both at the
same time.

According to you, what has been your best performance till date?
My character in a Gujarati film called 'Mainto Palaeavde Bandhi Preet' which is celebrating the forty-second week in Gujarat is my best performance till date.

What are your future plans?
My future plan is to do more and more regional films. Yes, acting as an offbeat Hindi film heroine is okay.
