I missed the first few minutes of the show as it started before 6:30 pm
PST. I know I should have switched over...god forbid these shows start
and end on time.
Dadi's home
Anyway, Vikram is at his dadi's bed side and they are having a
conversation. Dadi is quite worried about Vikram as he appears to be
tense about something....more like a lot of things. She enquires if
everything is ok with Shyamlee and he assures that everything is fine with
her.
Vikram offers to take dadi home and restore the respect due to her, but
dadi tells him that she cannot enter that house again. (Why?
hmmm...was the house too small?) Dadi is still worried about Vikram and
she keeps asking if vikram is ok. Vikram finally tells dadi that sonny has
returned and that he is blackmailing their father. (What??? Dadi knows
too...everyone knows but me. Vikram is so adorable! aye hai...)
Singhania home
Sonny brings Shyamlee down from I don't know where. Vikram has gone
to see Dadi and poor Shyamlee. He jokes that she doesn't enjoy his
company. (First off, pregnany and hormones go hand in hand)
Sonny...sonny...sonny. He is trying to instigate Shyamlee and expresses
his concern to the whole family that Vikram has not taken bechari
Shyamlee on their honeymoon. (What, Sonny? Do you want to take
her???) He enthusiastically says that he will talk to Vikram Bhaiya about
their honeymoon plans. Shyamalee falls into a deep thought while staring
at him (make it obvious why don't you...who stares at anyone that long???
But wow...Shyamlee is so beautiful. She reminds me of Aladdin's Jasmin)
Ravi tries to pass a hint about his overdue honeymoon. (Were they trying
to be funny?? Not funny...) Sonny suggest that everyone sit down and
play a mazedar game of anthakshari. "Anda ka
phanda....hmhmhmhmhmhmm..." Sonny provides sound effects. First
song ends at "da." Sonny thinks...he thinks hard about "dah" or "da" and
Shyamlee starts to think hard too...poor thing...so much hard thinking
about Siddanth and their game of antakshari. Sid and Shyamlee are
playing a game of antakshari and it stops at "dah" or "da". Siddanth like
Sonny could not think of any song...Shyamlee and Sid have a playful fight
in her memory of course. Back to the current game of antakshari hosted
at the Singhania house. Sonny thinks of a song! "Dum dum
digga...lalalalla...whowowowow..." Shyamlee.... Shyamlee is in reminise
land and guess who thought of the same song in her thoughts (no it
wasn't me and come on give the woman a break, Sonny. Otherwise she
will end up in the cuckoo house before you finish your game and for
God's sake she is pregnant with your child. Have a heart) "Lalalalala..."
Komal starts singing "Ladki wahin deewani hai....hahaha...hmmmm".
Shyamlee is thinking about the good times between Sid and herself.
Again, Sonny is stumped at "ha" or "ho" and I was like huh... "Hum
bewafa hargis na the par hum wafa kar na sake...." Poor Shyamlee...it
seems that she has had enough of her antakshari memories and retreats
to her bedroom in the middle of the game. Ravi says that Shyamlee
seems to be in a bad mood. Sonny says he is tired and takes the liberty
to tell everyone that they should all go to bed. He also tells Ravi to
celebrate his honeymoon (Ravi and honeymoon don't go hand in hand.)
Sid sits with a wicked grin and he looks around with wicked grin. Tish
Tish music plays in the background. What is going on? Nothing. Sonny
Looks around and makes a call. To whom? He calls his dad. "Kya baath
Hai," his father enquires calmly. Sonny tells him that he is at
Vikram's door. Shyamlee is in the room all alone. Singhania listens
and then chastises him that if he keeps it up that he will have to
pay.
Sonny casually walks into Vikram and Shyamlee's room. Shyamlee is
resting or in thought…i don't know.... her eyes are open.
"Shyamlee," he softly says. She looks at him astonished
"Siddanth!!!" she cries. "You are Siddanth and I know it is you. it is true
and I know."
Sonny goes into flashback mode. He thinks back to his conversation with
his father about how Shyamlee will plead with him and he just has to give
her one yes.
Shyamlee: "chup kyon ho....jhoote!!! Why did u play these games? Did
someone forbid you from telling me...blah, blah, blah"
Oh! Oh! Oh...singhania walks into the room and interrupts the
conversation. Sonny starts telling singhania that Shyamlee seems to have
had another attack of calling him Siddanth. "He called me Shyamlee," she
grits back. Sonny says that Shyamlee is insulting him...he says that if she
continues the ways she is...(oh crap, I missed the part) basically the
conversation consists of Sonny going on and on about Shyamlee calling
him Siddanth.
The scene quiets down and Shyamlee apologizes to vikram's father. (Yes,
Singhania...i can see it in your eyes. You feel bad about Shyamlee's
apology, cuz she is apologizing for nothing. I hope you are having many
attacks of being injust with your lies and I don't know what else you do)
Singhania says that he needs to have a word with Sonny. Before they walk
out Sonny tells Shyamlee not to call him Siddanth.... it is very stressful
(stressful??? What would Sonny do if he had a job???) Sonny says lets go
to his dad.
Singhania's office
Sonny and his dad are going back and forth and talking in drama
dialogue. "Quit your drama. It is enough." Singhania tells Sonny.
Sonny teases his his dad on getting caught in their current conversation.
Sonny starts on Shakespeare and something about we are puppets but
someone else holds the strings. (Very true) Then Sonny plops down in
his dad's office chair and he says he enjoys sitting in his dad's chair.
More drama dialogue from his father that they gave a sap milk. (I like
that...I am gonna use it on....my pet rock) Sonny says, "kaam ke baath
kare???" As usual Singhania pleads with Sonny to leave. Sonny retorts
back that it isn't like he enjoys living with them in the first place. Sonny
asks Singhania to give him what he wants and he will leave...he will leave
Shyamlee alone. Sonny gives his dad one week on what he wants to do.
Sonny: "Time starts now! tick tock tick tock tick tock..." (oh I guess he
was giving the count down to the end of the episode.)
what does sonny want...i dunno...can someone tell me...does he want
candy...money....a shrink?
PS - Many apologies!!! I know that I can't give you as wonderful an
update as Indygirl, but I tried!
