Aanchal and Damini Anand's mother passed away last week due to which the shooting of the special episode of Har Ghar... and Maayka has been stalled

Aanchal Anand aka Siddhi of Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai and Damini Anand aka Cherry of Maayka, who are sisters in real life, lost their mother recently. As both the actresses rushed home shooting of their respective serials had to be stalled. However, the creative head changed the script and the dialogues so that they could maintain the episode bank.

Our source says, "The moment the sisters got to know that their mother was in the ICU, they couldn't stop crying and rushed to hospital immediately. Both the units wrapped up work fast so that the actresses could leave. Unfortunately, their mother passed away by the time they reached."

Adds the source, "We were shooting for the December 31 special episode for which both the girls being the central characters in their respective shows, had to be present. However, we have altered the script and even got replacements for the two actresses. We have requested them to resume shooting within three days but they want some more time to cope with the loss."

Says a friend of Aanchal, "Aanchal's mother died of cardiac arrest and both the sisters are inconsolable. They are obviously not in a frame of mind to work."

Says Pearl Shahi, creative head (programming), Zee TV, "The sisters will not be shooting for a week. We have been shooting cut-to-cut for the special episodes, so it is really tough to manage without them. The production house is making changes in the script to compensate for the absence of the two leading ladies. We are hoping that the girls will be able to work at least for a few hours for the crucial episodes."

Thanks for the article. That's really sad news, and a very sad start to the new year for the girls. My condolences to them and their family and hope God gives them the courage to bear this unbearable loss.

In 2days epi Siddhi was back in the show, but she said to Gyan she's not going to come back to his life. So does that mean she's going to be away from the show for a while now?
