An observation!

Hi All

After seeing the cunning face of Siddhi yesterday, one point struck me. I am here to write that here and discuss on that...😳

In most of the serials, the male as well as female protagonist are always pictured as good, nice and loving.. It is very rare that a protagonist will have a cunning motive, and will be shown in bad light...

But in Har Ghar, one thing that appealed me is that, the writers are showing a self centred and cunning protagonist in Siddhi..She surely does not have total grey shades, but it is very clear that she is not a good bahu material at all... She lives having her own terms and conditions and probably can do anything to take away Gyan from his family..

This is one thing i like about this serial, bcos they are trying to show that nobody is perfect and every person has his/her weaknesses..

I really like the concept where they story deals with 3 girls, where the first girl is very kind, loving and caring and long to be with her inlaws and family, but is not lucky enough to get the happiness she has always desired.

The 2nd girl wants only her life partner and lover without the extra baggage of his family, and has fooled all the family members by putting up a good face and then wil probably dump them in one corner and will never respect them in her life.. She is so materialistic that she does not understand the value of family at all...

This whole story line of theprotagonist for a change, being the wrong one is really good and i am liking it for a change...😳😳 Ur views on this please?

Here they have three protagonists and all three are very diferent and have different perspectives on life. Where we have Prathna who is the perfect example of a good daughter and a person who loves the love of a family we also have Siddhi who is the complete opposite! And then there's Sanskriti who falls somewhere in the middle.

This is something different portrayed very nicely in Har Ghar...but i still feel there's something missing in Har Ghar! 😕

I thank you for you understanding what the serial is about.. I had great fights with all the creatives regarding Siddhi's character... More than 90% were againts a negative protagonist (in terms of attitude)... But then everyone else finally agreed, and Siddhi's track is the most promising one...

I just want to know from Leena that what is she finding amiss here. Even as a writer i am finding something amiss, but am not able to locate it. Pls as you and your friends are the audience, if u can help me with that to make the show better.

i agree.... i personally do not like siddhi... but her character is realistic and not fake....... most of the bahus these days are like that... hey put up a good face in front of thr family and then dump them later on... however they do truly love thier husband's...........

prathna's desires are realistic of a joint family.......... but i totally disagree with her methods.......... in the first few episodes i couldnt tolerate her interferce in others lives.......... even in joint famlies people do get their own respective space!!!

let me tell you a bit about Siddhi... she is a planner, but she is not very scheming, she will not contain herself in the closets... she will express what she feels.. she has respect and love for people, but only to a limit... Her priority is her life with Gyan... no one is accepted to play around with her happiness and space, not even her parents...

Prarthana is a character which seems too pushy, is someone who can't see anything wrong happening in her vicinity... her interference is objectionable, but the way she has been brought up in closeness, where one knows what is the problem in other person's heart, and all come together to resolve that (what is true about Gyan's family also)... emotions and relationships are given weightage over materialism.... But she has always been protected... when she first got into Thakral family, she doesn't know how to handle it... so her ways are amaturish and pure... and that looks interfering undoubtedly... But i promise you that she will grow... she has the objective of making 'Love Rules'... and her life will be a trial and error.. till she becomes mature and handles the things nicely...

The missing part seems to be Smiriti's character and her relationship with her boyfriend...needs more development and focus...to know how she thinks and feels, and how her boyfriend views the relationship etc...

This can either be shown..bad...as trying to make their relationship seem something that is negative....

This can either be good...the cool, sophisticated and modern girl is happy without the MARRIAGE and TIES.

i agree sree ji...bt u know from last two weeks looks like they didnt show sans in any matter....

y she is dissaper? as they said story abt 3 girls then should all equal parts...anyways i was just asking a normal que as i thought... 😆

Yes, i agree that the story should concentrate on all the 3 protagonists... That will make the story even moer interesting, with lots of variety and flavour to it.. 😳
