At least with Beyhadh, the main pair was in love and then Arjun fell out of love. Here, I really don't see any chemistry between Kabir and Aanchal, they suit more as friends than anything .
Kabir does look like a man-child with no idea of what is going on in the world. Aanchal should have gone for Ranvir who is strong-headed and has some goals and ambitions in life.
Aanchal was supposed to be a lawyer, now she is a board member and doing business.
My story with this trio would be something like this:
Kabir and Aanchal are best friends since childhood despite of status difference. Aanchal doesnt like Ranvir cause he is cold and distant from everyone. Ranvir has nothing to do with Aanchal. Aanchal grew up to be a lawyer and Ranvir becomes a businessman. Kabir is still figuring out his life but he looks up to his brother.
Aanchal has an elder brother who loves Aanchal and a step-mother who is not very nice to her. Kabir knows this and supports her very much. Aanchal gets a case where she finds out that Ranvir made a fishy deal that could be harmful for local businesses. She confronts Kabir but he supports his brother and they get into an argument. Based on circumstantial evidence, Aanchal drags Ranvir and their family into court which results into humiliation and bad name for Raichand family.
Ranvir develops hatred towards Aanchal and decides to destroy everything she loves. There is no marriage track in my story, simply hatred and revenge. We have had enough of love, there should be more layers to Ranvir and Aanchal. No one is purely white. Everyone has shades and secrets.
If you guys want, I can start writing more about it. For now, this is my idea of how Haasil should have been.
