Hello forumwasis,
I have read so many posts with people disappointed with the way show has progressed.
Haasil was supposed to be a thriller with love triangle filled with passion, intense romance & what not because that was promised to use from the promos, interviews & everything else. They promised us grey characters. They promised us that it would not be some regular, cliched love triangle story but will be something on another level. And they did keep that promise for the first 3 weeks of the show.
But now, for the past 2.5 weeks, it has become the regular Indian drama. I wonder if makers were fooling us. It's a finite series & already I have not seen anything that would hint at grey side of any character. Usually complete black characters on TV are called the grey characters. I don't want that with Haasil. But come on, I haven't seen even slightest of grey shade in any character. All characters are plain white. Everyone is good. Everyone is doing good & the ideal things for the other. No one is selfish or thinking only about themself. ( I think that't the grey shade). Thinking good all the time about everybody is not grey, it's pure white character. Ranvir is happy sacrificing his emotions for Kabir-Aanchal (his dialogues say that with sincerity), Kabir is Kabir (he said he wasn't negative here, so, I expected this), Aanchal is cry baby & someone who hangs on to either brother in every scene (that's not how I define strong-headed, opinionated, independent & no-nonsense female).
Ranvir is like a regular TV hero. (All EK & Gul's heroes are bad in the beginning but turn out to be the sweetest).
Kabir, again like Ranvir. (Bit dramatic & revenge headed at first but pipe ki tarah seedha now)
Aanchal, the most disappointing character for me. I had hoped her not to be regular show female lead but she is playing a regular female lead. As a matter of fact, I have not seen the dumbest of character on the name of grey shade as Aanchal on any TV show.
Makers have given Aanchal-Kabir as a pair & have swiftly ignored to show the intensity of Aanchal-Ranvir as of lately. All I can see with AanVir is the best friends relationship with no passionate chemistry what so ever ( Sorry, but I have seen enough shows to know when the romance is deep & immediate clicking).
I am loosing interest in the show. Thriller shows are supposed to surprise us at the very point we are most relieved. Ek Haseena Thi was one such show. Beyhadh was also great in this genre.
It's like I am watching the same cliched drama on TV. Rather than Sarika-Gaurav playing the vamp, I would have loved to see 1 of the 3 characters being at the prime spot. No wonder, why is this show neglected. It's like they have deviated from their original track.
Awesome promos, fantastic kick start of the show with thrill but ever since the Mauritius track had gotten over, it has turned boring. They have completely forgotten to address the details of- the Meenu case, malik's death, sorry-letter tearing (these names have not been taken even once after the first week).
It's already mid-December & I can't see the exciting turn of story as of now. The show's next episode doesn't excite me any more. What has happened?
Not fair CVs, this is not the Haasil I signed for. If you have the surprise, better throw it soon, before I am actually done.
What do you say guys? And yes, no bashes please.
