I love this one sami...He is just thinking how can someone love soo selflessly ...in a way he is found a peace ki laajo loved him unconditional... even how bad he behaved with her...he was just in awe of her...how someone be soo selfless...even to sacrifice her own love for his happiness...I just loved it...

yah how beautiful it must have felt na(i mean for the character) to realize that someone was there who kept loving him so unconditionally and selflessly and he just couldn't realize it ..though he couldn't but he was not feeling bad ,not at all ..he was just connecting the dots and was in pure awe of her <3

u see guys what I feel here is that first time this was unconditional love he got. He had to pamper Ishaana all the time, fight to keep Ishaana in love with him. With his mom he lost the battle of trying to win her love, and she was most important person in his life, more important than even Ishaana. I think the moment of awe is that here is someone who thought I was every thing to him, who literally lived past 6 months of her life for him and never asked for anything in return. He realizes she chose lifetime of loneliness and tears so that he could be happy. The day he finds out why exactly she went --how she begged barkha to forgive him, he will be shattered. IN a way he would also realize what she means to him and how much devoted she is to him, her love wil then become his guiding beacon, he will strive to become what she feels he actually is...
