I think he was reminding her of their compromise rather then blaming her, we know that Laajo told him let me tell my folks as you are unable to and he stopped her it was his decision and not Laajo's, but he told her of the compromise that he cannot love her, he is trying to remind her of that, that because her life would be hell at the village with their neighbours had he returned her there, he chose to keep her as his wife but it was a compromise that she doesn't expect love from him. But taking her to the party is not showing love, he should just tell the truth, also she has already guessed and gave the excuse to Barkha saying the same thing, he should just say he felt she wasn't ready to meet the people in their society and he should be doing something from now to help her integrate better, instead of ignoring the issue.

That was very sad precap, I agree with you all, Nikhil is a coward, he is just thinking of himself and Ishana, not Lajjo, he could have help her to study further, he could have help her to learn their way of living, could have bought some good sarres with the help of GUNJA.

Initially when they were trapped nearby the river he said he will help her to study further but as he married her he just forgot about the past.
The fact which really give me a heart attack he never decides anything for Lajjo just hang around with his friends for how long will she stay in this one room.

Ok He's reminding her about their compromise it should be done gently not as he did it in the precap he was rude to her.
He should have thought about what Lajjo said to Barkha also but instead turns rude and goes to Lajjo with his bitter words...
He did not even try to talk to Lajjo for not coming to fetch her for the party when he returned poor girl was sleeping on the floor.

I don't know what prompted that outburst and I guess I'll have to be patient until Monday😆 but that was my thought as well when I saw the precap that he was just reminding her that they had an understanding/compromise. Something along the lines of, he would not be give her things like a husband should such as love as he has already given that to someone etc., etc. (of course Laajo did not understand what "love" he was referring to but that's neither here nor there😆)
