I too am guessing Pundit, since he picked Arpi up and threw a body into the waterfront, so only he could have given Arpi cover.

Only question is - what's his motive? Does he have a long loyalty to the family and is pretending to co-operate w/ Bahuaji to prevent even bigger damage? After all, if he is the family pundit, it would be strange of him to ally w/ the bahu against other family members. Or was there some other tiff b/w him & BJ, and so he's playing his own games w/ her? Or does he have even bigger ambitions, and has decided that all of Avi's womenfolk BJ & Arpi are obstacles, so he decided to help BJ b4 helping Arpi, so that in the end, he'll end up on top?

there was a time when pandit had failed to do bahuji task

it was the time when arpi was in haveli but not really married as bahuji hadnt accepted it

so she hatches a plan to get rid of arpita

thats where pandit gets some motu monster to drown arpita bt she is saved by avdesh

so pandit failed and bahuji was angry and sort of threatened him

that only motive is there so far unless he has pact with lalsingh

he has his own secrets for now

I am quite sure that Pandit have done all this may be he have any personal issues with bhauji or may be he understands the real motive of that lady
