There is in every true woman's heart, a spark of heavenly fire, which lies dormant in the broad daylight of prosperity, but which kindles up and beams and blazes in the dark hour of adversity.
Washington Irving
After last week, I have to say I really enjoyed last night's episode. I always knew that Arpita was a one in a million but realised I was wrong. She is more. She is golden, pure and unsullied; she shone in the dark for Avdesh, keeping him in the golden path towards her, surroundering him with love.
What Avdesh and Arpita are currently going through is faced by millions all over the world. The imminent poverty, the battle between hunger and love. The constant struggle to survive in the face of abject humiliation and sting of pride. I thought the scene when Avdesh came home with his meagre shopping to after eating, was one of the best moment in a very long time. Yesterday, I mentioned he will now realise what poor people go through just to earn money for a meal and lo and behold Avdesh sits down and talks about the difficulty.
The backbreaking work he had down to ensure they have meal was just not enough, he knew. However, the practicality was faced by Arpita, who kept a cheerful face as she was determined to ensure her husband kept his strength so he could go out to work. The look of devastation on Avdesh's face was so well done that I had tears in my eyes.
He knew he had failed to provide for his wife, that his belly was full while her's twisted with hunger. Arpita, keeping within her characterisation, hastened to take off his anguish by being cheerful and full of love. This girl is so amazing, never a word of complaint or blame passing her lips, always so full of praise for her man. Avdesh will go very far with a wife like this and he knows that. I loved his words to her, that he see's something new in her every day and every moment. I wonder if he has fully grasped that this was the power of love? That their love is the factor that brings out the goodness in them both?
I can see their current predicament resonating with millions of viewers as well as raising awareness in others. For this I applaud the Cvs, but I also hope they move on from this as well. It is time we saw Avdesh taking back his life, to going back and facing all that is just waiting to blow up. With Arpita by his side, their trust and belief in each other as unshakeable as the mountains, they will be a force to be reckoned with and anyone coming in between will find out to their cost.
Baby, baby, I'm going through the motions. C. Dennis
At the Haveli, another strong woman, Bhaoji seems to have lost her faith in god. She is bitter and angry at what was happening due to Shikha and Avdesh being lost and out of communication. As usual, Bhaoji dealt with the mess, this time speaking to Tanmay. I guess now marriage is in the cards for Shikha but my heart ached at the thought of the tumult waiting to break over the Haveli. RV will be grabbing at this chance with both hands, feets and any other part of his body that he can use. Finally, Avdesh and Arpita will be even his grasp, so he can wreak his terrible vengeance. Just thinking about the happiness Avita are experiencing now and to the strife waiting for them makes me wince. I so wish I could send a message to Avdesh, he needs to come back and sort this out. Maybe Tanmay could live with them after marriage?😃😃
As for Shikha, regardless of whatever mistakes she made, my heart goes out to her. She is with her mother and bhabi, two women, and they do not understand what she is going through. Their mind is more on the community and what people will say, the breaking of traditions and so on. That is a price to pay for having one foot in the progrssive world and one in the traditional. I do feel sorry for. I really hope, she finds her backbone, she would need one if RV is to become her BIL.

Once Again loved the Simple and Rai men interaction but I do wonder when we will see more? it seems to be the same stuff again, we get it that Simple will be teaching these men a lesson they won't forget in hurry. Maybe the closet full of money and jewels will be a story arc that Simple and Papa Rai can get their teeth in.... I also thought that Mama R looked brighter and more cheerful these days, could it be at last she is emerging from her shell with the support of her hitlar-like DIL?😃😆😆 but there was also a dark tone to the scene, when Papa Rai showed his anger! I always siad there will come a day when he had enough and he will bite back, like the poisonous snake that he is. Then Simple would realise who she is really fighting.
Well, would love to hear your thoughts on this.😊
