😉Playing hookey from the errands that I was supposed to run this morning😉

Rewatched the epi, start to finish....yoohoo ...................I think the CVs, Ashish, Tanvi, director, Mr. Bhushan...the entire jing bang outdid themselves👏👏👏.........the night setting, haunting song with lyrics that were as if written for the scene, heartbreakingly beautiful Tanvi, heartstoppingly handsome Ashish, both at the epitome of their acting skills, portraying the pathos perfectly.......... 👏😊

Technically, their scenes together were display after display of masterful acting, a clash of equals. Neither gave or took a quarter. Specially noteworthy were:

Where he grabs her by the hair and with clenched teeth spits out those words that show, without a smidgeon of doubt remaining, just how deeply Arpita's earlier words have struck him. Just how ashamed and at the same time defiant, he is ...........it is the pain of falling from the pedestal, that is inevitable in any relationship, but that, for these two, happened so soon. It is the defiance that stems from complete despair, when you are flush against the wall, with no hope of escape. That is where he has found himself and he is not liking it.

The other one was the whole sequence, as you said Dreamy, where the two have that cute tussle and finally he is able to subdue her with the gruff:

"Ab jid (zid) na karo.....hamare hote huye tum khud apni patti karogi?"

There is a lifetime of love, concern, annoyance, and most of all feeling of belonging, in those few words. In those few moments, she conveys all her grievances against him and he accepts them, and then goes on to tell her in no uncertain terms, that there is where little he can do about the situation........he makes it clear to her that till he destroys Lal Singh, she should not get her hopes up. But this time her tells her in a calm, clear manner, all the while conceding how important she is to him...........this approach seems to yield better results.

I think it is significant that she accepts the glass of water from him....seems to me they turned a corner there..........her acceptance of water from him, it kind of symbolises an acceptance of the situation by Arpi, even though later, she makes one more attempt to stop him. Some level of understanding has been reached between them and a temporary balm has been applied to their wounded hearts so that the emotions are not so sore anymore. Of course, the underlying wounds remain, ready to flare up at the next provocation.

What I took away most from this epi was the sense that at a very basic level, Arpita is infinitely more dear to Avi than BJ is. Despite their long history of shared pain, their association of years, Avi does not feel closer to BJ than he does to Arpi.........what I am trying to say here is that it could just as easily have been the other way round....that is to say, he could have just as easily demanded BJ to understand the hopes and fears of a nayee-naweli dulhan....asked for her understanding, specially in light of the fact that they had not caught Lal Singh in 14 years.....he could have said that since you are the elder of the two, you have waited for so long, give me just a little more time and I will set everything right. Let Arpi settle down, she has gone through such harrowing experiences, let me give her some time and love and then I will be back on the mission. But youonly go to those with requests and demands for indulgences, who are most close to you and you feel you have the right to ask of them. That is what is missing between Avi and BJ.........he is in awe of her, of her "sacrifice'....he feels indebted to her....not close as family. With Arpi however, it is a whole different story....he thinks he has the right to ask of her the most difficult of questions and sacrifices...

Phewww.......u got me Dreamy😃....had to vent out!!!

i luvd the part when...

he suddenly realizes his mistake wen he looks at arpita's blood..the expressions were mindblowing

nd also tht adorable fight between them..they lookd so cute

oh yes, I liked that...suddenly he was so sober...all because she was hurt....Awwww..I loved the pained drunkeness as well...he spoke from the heart and showed her - and us- that despite having so much to shoulder, it was her that affected him so deeply....❤️

but I love, love, love the bedroom scene...that little fight...she was showing to him she was not ready to forget and forgive...he let her get away with it and then took over...showing he will indulgence her but when it comes to her health and safety he will rule......the looks, the music...even the words, so spot on.....😳😆😆👏👏 👏👏

and though i saw the episode only once but i did feel that both of them dont need words to express

when the show began these two had not uttered a single word to each other yet they were in love

till the time avdesh reaches pappu farmhouse to rescue arpita

and i know we all said not a word spoken and they r married

this is the real test of love

Oh CB dear, it's so very sweet of you to say this😊..........but you know na that you are the lifeblood of this forum?😊 There is no one more regular than you and your timely live updates sustain those of us who don't get to see the epi until much later.

And no truer words were spoken............to me the USP of this show in the beginning was the old world, fairy tale romance where eyes spoke volumes while the lips were sealed. Didn't think they made those kinds of love stories anymore............

lifeblood toh i dont know but its just this show has got me hooked like never before

i see it on time 9pm and most of the ppl here rely on videos so i just started and now it has become kind of regular

anyways frm next week or so updates wud be divided i guess

i told jaz to ask if anyone else wants to do them too

coz i agreed for mondays and i dont mind doing for all days. i enjoy it
bt if anyone else wants to take other days its fine with me

plus she gave me the code which i put now in my friday update

now no copy wud work

I was wondering where you were. Thank you for the compliment. I know you loved the episode, by the way...as you said you missed some part, if you go to apnidesi they have all the GKD videos, and the missing part is there....I always go there and watch the epside because they have it set up so beautifully.....

I was wondering why two particular shots were done....one when Avi holds his hands out and Arpi accepts, her palm facing out....you could see the mehendi gleaming....secondly the very last shot...their wedding picture...it didn't take long to realise that comparison, the loss of those dreams....everyone getting married have some dreams of what life would then be like.....at that moment my heart went out to Arpita.....she went through so much to be the wife of Avdesh S. Thakur and that hasn't happened yet.....and she is aching and sad for that...

I watch it on video...utube has gotten strict and removed all the GKD videos (and others off course) because of Copyright infringement...otherwise I would have taken a shot at updating because they usually have the first part up and running 10/15min after the airing......as it is no can do, I doubt people would wait an hour or two after the airing for an update....😆😆

As you said if other people watch it at 9pm, then they too could do the update.....

so you do a great public service, Di (one way of looking at it!😉)....thanks so much😊
