Ratan and Karan in desi version of The Vampire Diaries
After an adaptation of The Twilight Saga (Ekta Kapoor's Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani), The Vampire Diaries will go desi now.

According to sources, the upcoming show, titled Fanaah, is loosely inspired by the US tele series. TV actress Ratan Rajput and Karan Kundra will play the leads in the show, which will also mark the latter's comeback to the fiction genre after three years. (The original has Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley in main roles.)
Vikas Gupta, programming head of the channel, didn't revert to our text messages. Karan, too, remained unavailable for comment.
