pb in kitchen n she is thinking abt jk words...kesar comes there n she wipes her tears n asks whether he is hungry n does he need food...he says nahi...she asks kay hua...he comes near her n sits beside her...he asks gulaal n dushy ba ka rishtha kya hai...she looks at him n says mujhe iss baath ka andhaaza tha ke yeh baathein tere kaano thak bhi pahuchenge...yeh ummeed nahi thi ke tu mujhse aake yeh sawaal poochega...kesar who is until now looking away, looks at her with tears in his eyes...she says tum ne jo kuch bhi suna hai woh ghalath hai...par usse bhi zyaada ghalath hai ke tu mujhse yeh sawaal poochraha hai...kyun ki tere poochne ka mathlab yeh hai ke...kahi na kahi yeh baath pe yakeen kar raha hai...gulaal par shakh karraha hai...dekh beta...gaau mein jo log yeh baathein phelaarahe na...woh gulaal ke apne nahi hai...yahaa iss ghar mein sab log uske apne hai...yeh uska parivaar hai...isliye hum mein se kissike mann mein dushy n gulaal ke rishthey ke bhaare mein khayaal aana bhi ghalath hai...bhalki yeh hamaare liye bade dhuk ki aur sharam ki baath hai...kyun ki kahi na kahi...uski iss bhadnaami ka kaaran hum log hai...

This is what the problem was PB and MB always expected world of him, how on earth he was not supposed to question what the entire village was talking about, he was away for 10 long years enough to change loads of things around, he was struggling with his own inner conflict about dobt vs beliefs and here to PB expects him to understand from gulaal's pov..why'is this expectation is because he was Gulaal's husband? Did anyone in the family except that relationship of course JK had her own selfish reasons to, but I think PB and MB were always so unfair on Kesar'.
