Arre! Ye to apni Gulaal hi hai... but what is she looking at with so much love, that isn't me 😲 and chal pade Mr. Curious Cat Bond-giri par 😆

The famous zulfon ka jhaal, jisme fasa Kesar behaal 😆 I loved how the camera zoomed in on Kesar at this point with that sun streaked misty feel in the air about him... ☺️

Oh I loved loved her expressions when Talli was gyaan giving about her being a girl with ichcha! And it struck me, how Kesar said the same thing to her, albeit in that Galool-shattering confrontation just the night before calling Panchayat to break DV! The contrast of Talli not knowing half of Gulaal's heart like Kesar does - yet having that intuitive 'female understanding' of what is so amiss in Gulaal's life; and Kesar on the other hand with the eventual dawning of the big picture understanding how far and deep the problem runs... To Talli, Gulaal is a woman imprisoned by her duties. To Kesar Gulaal is a living austerity compulsive of caging herself in the name of one excuse after the other - and so the variation on 'kindness scale' as each of them deal with releasing Gulaal from this imposed recluse! And Gulaal's own reaction to each - while she easily manages to side track Talli's kind inetntion; with Kesar she is jolted rudely, and has to struggle to ignore his logic, eventually succumb to it of course!


Okay this is the bit when Talli is telling Gulaal she too looks beautiful open hair and Kesar in the rarest occasion is vehemently nodding to the claim inside his head 😆



Oh my favorite shots from the chase - again, I love the sun kissed filming of the bagh in this scene - the sneak peak of rays complemented by Gulaal in element is infectious in a way you can shrug off the spell no more than Kesar himself ... we're looking at the scene through his eyes here, and the magic of it hits just like that! And oh, I love love love when he peaks through the tree branches and leaves - sigh 😍 He's so oblivious of anything but her, and the spell he's being cast under doesn't occur to him until she catches his eye!

The way he's captivated makes me think of how GV, despite their love at first sight story, despite all the flirting and all the evident very much requited attraction and later love - never felt this strain... this strain of feeling caught in a timeless moment, like everything ceased to be... like it was this, or nothing! For Kesar, it really did come down to that. When you think of the finale week, or even the time Gulaal first leaves the house after his confession - Kesar's listless and restless absolute loss of control on himself, on anything about himself or his life or surroundings - the extent of his desperation - its all on this account. The way his only options in life for so long have been everything with her, or nothing with no one. And although this scene is purely about attraction, a kind he hasn't experienced, and knows not how to deal with - she has in general been so primary and singular in his existence for as long as he remembers now, that even if she didn't look so divine - to Kesar, every new shade and side of her person would be a wonder to him, like his person discovery of a mini miracle... What holds him so captivated even here - apart from her 'beauty' as such, is a new side to her...
