You're welcome about the caps!

Loved how you put this!👏
I love Cvs how they use mirror in this story- what a paradox to another mirror scene where he tells Gulaal that he could do nething for her smile and here he's ready to do nething to hurt her. Then, comes one of the brilliant dialogue frm Gulaal- "Dus saal tune apne aap ko mujhse door rakha toh maine apne aap ko baandh liya"- comes to the line which Kesar said much later in da story- "Sab ke beech main bhi akeli rehna chahti hai"- She can only share her pains, miseries and turmoils with Kesar and nobody else though they hav technically been with her for a longer time-dats the bonding- as it is same wid Kesar.
Sending Kesar to boarding school was entirely MB's idea...Gulaal was disturbed by Kesar's wild behavior in those days, yes but she was actually always trying to pacify MB by saying that Kesar will calm down, he will listen to HER as he always does...Kesar actually found out about Dushyant's truth before the boarding school idea came up...the order if I remember it correctly went like this...the bhaang scene and Kesar acting up over that, then MB shifting Kesar out of Gulaal's room/him finding out Dushyant's truth happened around the same time I think...which is why Gulaal instantly jumped to the conclusion in those days that Kesar was angry about being shifted from the room...and soon after that Kesar's wild behavior escalated and then MB decided to send him away to boarding school...Gulaal tried a lot to get him to change his mind but he was adamant and Kesar just kept a sullen silence through all of this and refused to speak with either her or MB.

^^ Okay slow as I am, I kept wondering where I'd heard the song 😆 For some reason I was misled into believing you were referring to Rihana's I hate how much I love you - lol - but this one is epic ... OMG when she 'performs' it in the movie for the interview - that scene is 🤣 I was thinking about a bunch of real life artists who are quite like that *cough* no names* ...

Anyway, so I was basically thinking of the more cliche 'rose petals' when I came up with that title - you know the ' she loves me, she loves me not' ...?!?!

Nur - yeh I thought that was the order too, the bhang and moving out of room, and then Kesar discovering the big secret and his rude behavior at school and the final nail by throwing a vase at Dushyant - fir to boarding pukka hi tha 😆 - just wanted to make sure I was getting it right, cause like I said, I didn't watch those episodes in order - not yet anyway!

Actually - to add to the discussion - I personally think Kesar did not hold Gulaal responsible for the boarding even for a moment. It was Gulaal who kept saying it, and then he just used it back on her for all the time that he wasn't letting out the real reason! Technically, if anyone after MB had a say in this decision, it was Kesar himself. He was so off his lid at that point, that he told MB he was ready to go. Typically Kesar! - but that's exactly the kind of 'Kesar's own decision' scenario, as going back to city in the final week was - except, in the former case, in his opinion he was going away from Gulaal to punish her in his own way, since hate and shock or whatever else, even at that tender age, he couldn't blow up her cover and shout out the secret! But in the latter, as we know, he was just escaping the dire gloom and emptiness!

Arey yaar even I wasn't sure about the order...it was only recently I watched that scene when MB declares that Kesar is moving out of her room that I remembered the order more clearly...lol

No, he never REALLY held her responsible for sending him away to boarding school...it was always more of a case of him just resenting her so much back then and being so hurt that he didn't say anything, just shunned her, period...he was trying to punish her as you said but ended up punishing himself also.

Everything got wrapped up in too many layers of complication...he saw her supporting Dushyant a few times, scolding HIM and it all just got all the more complicated...he wanted to believe the worst once his basic trust took such a huge blow. So it's like when MB announced his decision, Kesar didn't even say much cuz he believed the worst in every sense now.

^^ Word to that Nur. It was a whole lot of quick facts that piled on him - and honestly, whatever his temper issues, for a child that age, he actually managed to deal with it all by himself - not in the right manner, but heck all the adults around him were busy making their own share of blunders, what can one say to him! We've gone into Gulaal's and Dushyant's mistakes - but look at even MB's decision here. This is a child who has been showing a consistent up graph with the advent of Gulaal - and everyone knows how he literally worships her. No one wonders why there is such a drastic change of attitude in him within a matter of hours or so? Okay, he has a tantrum phase - so you pack him off to a distance so far, that he cannot really fathom 'sharing' whatever is bothering him? Packing off a problem child might as well be a certified means of ensuring he will thereafter never really open up again! Not only has Kesar been a second fiddle in Gulaal's life - but literally for everyone else too, except Vasant, maybe - although in Vasant's case, sometimes its like the whole world has equal priority, people and animals alike! Anyway, MB takes his decisions keeping Gulaal far higher in priority than Kesar himself - and why? Because he can foresee the consequences of a mistake Gulaal has made. So he's not really 'correcting it' but making Kesar suffer in turn. Why? Because Gulaal is not someone they question in that house - certainly not oppose!

I wont say it would have helped Kesar to stay back - but just maybe in time, he could have actually blurted knowing the truth before Gulaal, and not have let the 'wound of betrayal' fester for a decade?

Of course - we may then have not gotten such a complex amazing show to watch - so yes, Kesar can suffer briefly to entertain us 😆

MB's decision was right I'd say, Jzee...ofcourse maybe it didn't help that the circumstances around it got complicated beyond MB's understanding...he couldn't fathom WHY Kesar was acting up SO much...cuz Kesar had a solid history of throwing OTT tantrums when not getting his way over little things like not being allowed to go with Gulaal to her house...so on one level I don't blame MB for making that presumption...as he was also disturbed by the changes he could otherwise see in Kesar regarding Gulaal...he didn't make that decision just for Gulaal's priority...he made it for both of them I feel...Gulaal took things out of Kesar's hands anyways cuz she made that decision for BOTH of them not realizing what it would mean for Kesar's future as well...but MB foresaw all this...I'd say he was the wise one in this case although some things got complicated beyond his knowledge and he can't be blamed much for those. I think he wanted Kesar to gain some independence and maturity while being away...those are usually the reasons in general children are sent away to boarding school too...MB probably felt that Kesar needed that since he was being such a brat.

Overall it's another one of those things which were needed to drive the storyline forward...a set of events put into motion for the larger picture...like you said, things had to happen this way so that we got the genius complexity of the storyline overall.
