STAR Plus' new show Diya Aur Baati Hum is the story of Sooraj who encourages his wife Sandhya to pursue her dreams of becoming an IPS officer. Gulaal's happiness matters most to Kesar
Kesar stood by Gulaal when his family was angry with Gulaal for hiding about Dushyant's involvement in Vasant's death. He could not bear to see his family members insulting and humiliating his wife Gulaal and decided to leave the house along with her. Gulaal's happiness matters most to him, he even agreed to break the deyarvatu because she wanted it that way.

I will be checking out Diya Aur Baati, the concept seems nice - and i just love the title song that i heard yesterday - how can you not, Kailesh Kher and Shubha Mudgal singing together

Kesar is not only a supportive husband but such an absolutely supporting soulmate ! If only Gulaal would realise that ! I am equally for mansi and neil, but I am more for Kesar than for Gulaal...
