I am really trying hard to get out of the disappointing episodes. its been so heartbreaking to not have enough of GK scenes plus have bad replacements too..
Retaining all that we have all been saying , I suddenly realised what the best part of yesterday's episode was ...
And as such , we have all discussed that the sudden dhol beating scene left much to be desired, but remember the last time Kesar was playing the dhol in a real "mast" manner and Gulaal saw him -at that time she was reminded of Vasant and saw Vasant !
But I am so glad that this time , when she saw Kesar playing the dhol, she was equally moved but she saw KESAR himself , and was spellbound and drawn to him..
A small thing , in a way, but very significant if we look back at the last time...
And, though I am hopping mad otherwise at the episode, I think this was the best thing that I would like to remember ,that she cannot but see Kesar as Kesar now, no matter how high a pedestal she is trying to sit on and whether she realises it or not , accepts it or not (foolish girl !) ...his love has finally reached the core of her and made its own place,
( GIF Courtesy .Geeshani - and courtsey Shrushti's lovely post ...thanks for making it -
please bear with me , took the liberty of putting it here , pls dont get angry , just trying to focus on something nice and come out of blue mood , its unbearable otherwise..)
Chalo everyone ,lets not depend on CV's , pls fill this space with own lovely thoughts, VM's and imagination on how the story nicely continued and satisfactorily concluded ...
Lets end our Kes_Gul story our way and tell it to one another - after all , the CV's are also telling us a story only na ? Why cant we imagine the story our way and save our souls from any torture that they give out to us ?
I am sorry of this post doesnt make any sense..actually I am so disappointed that I just cant take it anymore and have to end it somehow ..please lets think of nice Kes-Gula scenes and let our souls get some respite... And I hope to God that tonight's episode is nice ..

Haha! True VJ - at least she was looking at the real guy and not thinking of another! If only it was easy to ignore the preceding 25 minutes and not give a damn to how she didn't give a damn to Kesar's absence!

BTW - I figured Kesar actually looked funnier with the dhol given his attire, and shorter than ever hair... the dhol is oversize for him and looked all the more - not to mention the repelling color coordination with his purple pair of shirts! :D Honestly, just that second, when he first stood there drumming, I almost thought it was cruel to give him a comic touch after torturing us for all of the episode otherwise... then they shared that look, and at least briefly, I was mitigated... ofc Gulaal being Gulaal had to mess up with her farz et al eventually...

On a side note - I really really loved the last time with the dhol - as my signature space testifies. Its one of my favorite magical GK moments!

Weird thought.. but the moment I heard the dhol and saw Kesar there.. I remembered the scene from the movie "Mohabbatein" where Shahrukh is playing the dhol ... no similarity to situations and no, Kesar def did not resemble Shahrukh in the scene... but, I donno how and why I just remembered it... 😆

the dhol scene was good! And I liked Kesar's entry with the dhol! His joy filled face seeing gulaal in the house, and Gulaal's reaction too was good!

Other than this, I also liked the toffee scene!

But other than that, nothing to remember from these recent episodes! 😔

You said it - "If only it was easy to ignore the preceding 25 minutes and not give a damn to how she didn't give a damn to Kesar's absence! " ...I still cant believe CV's showed that !

OMG, ur description of Kesar is so bang on , no wonder he looked so odd , now that I relook at him thru your eyes purple shirt , brown rassi ,huge Dhol , short hair, how could they do that !.
and your term "comic touch" 🤣
Yeh toh Neil hi hai ki phir bhi carry off kar liyaa , "ishq ne Ghalib nikamma kar diyaa, varnaa hum bhi aadmi the kaam ke" !

Because SRK playing that Dhol in Duniya mein will forever be etched in the minds of young women. :) :) Perhaps older women as well.
