Paan Baa tells Revji to take his daughter with him, if there is no place in the family's hearts for her, there is no point in her finding a place in the house, and leaves. Kesar overhears this. Revji insists that Gulaal come with him, she refuses. Kesar enters the room and supports Revji. He tells Kesar that he should have spoken to Kesar before making that call but he couldn't tolerate Gulaal's being insulted. Kesar says its fine and agrees that Gulaal should leave but she refuses. Revji insists asking what is left for her here, she says that this is a consequence of her actions and she deserves this punishment. She continues insisting and Kesar supports her saying that he will take care of her respect in the house, both have an eye-lock. He says that he should have done this before but Mota Bha and Paan Baa were going through a lot of pain, but not anymore, he promises that Gulaal will not suffocate. Gulaal looks at him touched with tears in her eyes, its as if she is living on Kesar's support alone else she would have broken down long back. Revji tearfully tells her that he is leaving her in Kesar's care alone, and leaves.
Sudha comes to Ghigha and Jamna's room to give food, Jamna asks if Raman returned, Sudha says no, Ghigha murmurs that their sons will never improve. After Sudha leaves, Jamna tells him angrily that what does he mean, his sons will never improve, Mota Bha should have forgiven Dushyant, Dushyant was wrong but he spent the last 10 years of his life in punishment, sometimes she used to think he is Mota Bha's son not hers, Mota Bha should have forgiven him. Ghigha responds angrily that she is blinded by her son's love and doesn't see his faults, she says that she sees everything, Ghigha will not live in Mota Bha's shadow anymore and will not have the same relationship with him as before. Ghigha says he cannot have the same relationship, he cannot even meet his eyes, his son has stolen his right to be a brother.
Next morning Kesar wakes up and sees Gulaal by the window, he tells her to get him tea. She hesitates, he takes her hand and asks her to come to the kitchen, she has done no wrong and should not hide her face, nobody will say anything to her. He takes her hand and guides her to the kitchen.
The women are in the kitchen. Jamna comes there, Paan Baa ignores her, she goes to a corner, Saru asks her to join them but she refuses. Love Jamna and her attitude, lol, no matter how wrong her side is she will never show a weak side. Kesar brings Gulaal there, all glare at her. Kesar tells everyone that Gulaal will work here as well, and asks Gulaal to make breakfast for him. Jamna says then fine let her finish her work first and leaves. Paan Baa wickedly tells Saru they should leave and return when Gulaal finishes her work, and both leave. Sudha follows and asks Talli to come along, Talli refuses, Kesar tells Talli that he knows she is on their side but for now she should listen to Sudha, Talli leaves. Mota Bha watches all this and feels bad for Gulaal.
Kesar tells Gulaal that they all left husband-wife alone, its good, while she wipes tears from her eyes. He tells her that he will cook today himself, and no matter what she has to eat it. He tells her that they will take a long time and keep everyone else waiting today. She asks him if he can get materials for prayer, she will now pray in their room. He teases and tells her that he will get her definitely, as long as he is her husband she can take full advantage of him and make him run around just like a husband. He then starts making tea under her instructions. Both are in the room, Kesar sips his tea and praises it, he asks Gulaal how it is. She says its nice, he says she hasn't even tasted it. Then seeing her upset in tears he leaves.
Mota Bha is lost in thought and tells Paan Baa that they are probably being too strict with Gulaal. Paan Baa tells him that he needs to be stronger and even though Gulaal did so much damage he is still worried about her. Ghigha passes by and Mota Bha asks if he had breakfast, he says yes and leaves. Paan Baa says he should not be so soft, she has tolerated a lot from Jamna but will not anymore, specially after learning that Dushyant killed Vasant, and leaves crying. Mota Bha flashbacks to happy times with the family.
Kesar is sitting in the cowshed and flashbacks to Paan Baa's wicked words, and his promise to Gulaal's father. He flashbacks to the time she was running after Talli in the park happily and wipes his tears.
Precap: Kesar is angry and tells his mother that Gulaal will not stay in this house anymore, she has started insulting her in front of outsiders as well, he has decided to leave the house with his wife Gulaal forever. Paan Baa is furious, but she looks scared or something because she swallows, a sign people indicate when they are scared.
