Oh I loved loved the role reversal..when she asked 'What should I do?' ...Just reminded me of their convo on Kesar's anger when Kesar is asking 'Mein kya karoo Gulaal' ...he must have said this so many times...Like even during the Vad savitri vrat...and today he is the all knowing Kesar and a totally at loss Gulaal...and still they both bond...The same way they always have,,,,😳

Yes yes yes! The role reversal is so intricate and subtle at once! Its like every dialog and action goes back and connects to a similar scene with the original Gulaal becomes the anchor Kesar always needs scenario.

Addition to that thread input:

SF was a major disappointment !! She again wants to run away... I really was happy to see the three bro and sis together but what bakwaas they made out of a probable good scene🤢

I can no longer understand why introduction of her character at such a latter phase of the show was even necessary. Yes, we got some 'compelled to act like hubby and wife' scenes... but really, we would have seen GK evolve in their bond anyway - given they could never really continue acting as platonic friends! And okay fine, even if she was absolutely necessary to use the convenience of that forced act from GK, why is she being turned to such a negative element now? She of all the people has every reason to still be cupid and show sense to the rest of the house -

A) she's the elder even MB and PB would listen to.

B) She can easily explain to them how Gulaal keeping a secret was similar to them keeping a secret from them about GK DV, because for her that was just as deceptive in a way, as Gulaal's secret was!

C) She cannot really feel the betrayal like the rest of the house because she hasn't been living in that house for a decade watching fondly and proudly over Dushyant when all the time he was the murder... that sense of overwhelming injustice cannot be the same for her, so her emotions should be least blinding of at this point - but no... she's turning out to be the most futile character carved on this show - from the looks of it at this point, and with 15 episodes to go, I don't know how much of that perception can be salvaged!

I was glad that Sudhi was quiet..I guess she knows Talli has found a good man in her life...toh duniya jaaye bhaad mein...

Ditto that. I don't think I can deal with another witchy makeover! Silent neutrality is better than outright negativity anytime!

Am wondering with Kunal giving back the money how would Ramu be exposed...
And Kulli moment...Well just one thing...Kudos to Kunal for wanting Talli for 7 births😲

I guess the best and the most logical moment has to go to Revji...the way he put his daughter's case before MB...I was almost waiting for a positive and pensive MB...but I guess it will take time... and yet, MB has not been blind or atrocious in any way ... his lack of belief and extent of the hurt is so credible, even if its obviously in error!

Aaah! I forgot to mention - its the first thing I said to Ganga - cause her PM was the first thing I saw when I logged in after watching the episode! The effort of typing made me miss it... but it was SO PWEEETY! And so in time! I love that saree of hers btw! Ohhh and on that note (completed unrelated though this is) did you see HOW MANY clothes came out of Galool's wardrobe?! And still she must wear that uniform

The first scene was sweet...as always Kesar's straightforward dialogues and the earnest way in which he says them is the best part...the sooraj and grahan analogy was wonderful.

Overall I had medium si expectations from the epi so wasn't surprised to see SF etc. getting a lot of footage...SF has turned out to be a very disappointing character considering how promising she had seemed when she entered.

Yeh I wasn't expecting all GK - and I didn't really mind the other character scenes - surprisingly even Kunal and Kulli except that I'm now confused about what will happen about Raman showdown - but the SF scene was just ULTRA BLAH! Like made me pull at my hair! I think all the more so, because of how much I was pinning my hopes on her to show sense until the Friday U-turn 🤢 Refer to my reply to Srush for more on that? She's just this redundantly carved character to me all of a sudden, to have been introduced at such high climatic fag end of the show

Kunal was actually good in his brief scene...he didn't annoy me for a change...lol and Talli is falling for him over his goody goodyness...chalo achha hai.

Revji was AWESOME today...LOVED how he told off PB in that scene...loser woman giving maha pathetic expressions🤢...it really is sad that the original PB couldn't stick around for this last phase of the show *sigh*

Oh I can go on about this - but really, there are better things to waste time with, yeh?!

Ok I hope GK leave the house by tomorrow or Wednesday atleast. - TOMORROW please! I'll be a little mad if it gets delayed to Wednesday!

I love it whenever Gulaal gets all sulky! It's really endearing especially when she kepts giving side glances at first when Kesar was talking to Champa. That whole childish side to her is really really cute!! And of course who else can handle her but Kesar? He can sort any issue out when it comes to Gulaal. Even in her worst days, Kesar is there to make her smile whether it was being there for her after Vasant died or now when the whole family is against her. His maturity has remarkable and it works wonders over Gulaal. If he tells her that she isn't going anywhere then THAT'S THAT! She sits back down and listens to her husband. 🤣Like I said in my topic, Gulaal holding on to Champa and crying said quite a lot. She was only moving back to her room but it still got her all worked up because she would have to distance herself from Kesar.

Reemz - you and I are sooo ditto on that 😆 I absolutely love Gulaal turning kid mode - whether with her friends to beat them at games, or with Kesar... Mansi is such a natural in this mode... her mischief and sulking are equally endearing... and the scene just compels you to appreciate the role reversal in such precision!

SF has turned out to be a phuss cupid too! Why does she want to run away at as soon as tragedy strikes? How about supporting the family for once?

Refer to my reply to Srush please? SF is a mega disappointment. And that may be the most euphemistic way to dismiss her redundancy!

Talking about this new PB just makes my blood boil because she really has ruined the essence of the character. Someone please tell her to go and study the role properly!! <--- can we just not get so many of her scenes. Can the other woemn be used to bully Gulaal when its a must? i'd be happy to watch JK step in anytime!

Have to agree with Nur...the most striking feature about today's episode...the montage!! I loved it. Noticed that Gulaal was wearing her pretty Pink sari (the ones she wears for celebrations) and I loved the way she was holding on to Kesu's hands. It was a bit of a deja vu montage...reminded me of the one where chottaa Kesu was squatting behind Gulaal and they were holding hands just the same way. Difference obviously is that in that montage Gulaal was wearing White and this one she is wearing the Pink sari!

Ok, a couple of things annoyed me today. Firstly, Giga goes and apologizes to MB and MB's response - don't apologize Giga, Dushy was like my son, in fact I loved him more than a son, I loved him more than Kesu, how could this have happened blah blah blah. I was not expecting MB to shout at Giga but his response was a bit resigned and came as a complete shocker!! It almost seemed like he was fine with what had happened...so basically had accepted with ease what Dushy has done and yet what Gulaal has done is both unacceptable and unforgivable??😡 Like I said, I was not expecting him to shout at Giga but for Gods sake, Dushy murdered your golden boy and you just sit there and comfort Giga and wonder why one brother murdered the other? Maybe you should go and ask Gulaal...oh wait, her crime is even more heinous than Dushy's??😕

Dude - I personally think he exhausted his extreme in beating Dushyant with a stick... and although betrayal from both Dushyant and Gulaal has hit him really hard - I think Gulaal's side has hit him just a bit more... because Gulaal always did have an edge, over the others... she was his special girl - and as Rewa said, Gulaal did always stand highest on priority and credit list for MB - higher than not just the daughters, but even the sons, especially after Vasant... Somewhere, I find MB's character really, really credible, including his resignation before Giga today. His entire dealing with the showdown, post that initial burst of action and dialog, has been rather quiet... the silent treatment... and everything he said about Dushyant was (to me) not in condoning but in a kind of self regret as much as deep disappointment in the let down... I think somewher MB does understand and believe that Dushyant did reform genuinely ... not that its any compensation... but well, even a subconscious understanding like that can sort of transform an outright rage into more of a deep rooted, rotting inside kind of pain... that just looks like resignation... In different ways, he does give equal treatment to Giga and Revji Bha as fathers of two people who have betrayed his trust - he doesn't hold them responsible for what their children have done - which I think is magnanimous of him... just as much as it is of Revji Bha to not tell PB that her daughter too is a DIL in his house... these are, in the conventional ways, men of principles!

Kesu and Gulaal's conversations were just too cute!! I loved the way he asked Champa - 'arrey, Champa kaisee hai? itne dino se dikhee nahin?? He knows just what to say and do to make Gulaal smile! 😆 AND US!!! ☺️

Usually Kesu leaves the room messy and Gulaal is the one picking after him with a - yeh Kesar bhi! Today, Gulaal got a dose of her own medicine with Kesu making fun of her messing up the room!!😆 it was cho cho cho cho cute! that scene ☺️

Loved Revji!! He has always been my hero...daddy does know best! 👏 Loved when he said that this is Gulaal's sasuraal and a sasuraal can never be a girls home! That was such a sad moment. Well, I don't blame him...after all these years MB, PB, JK, Reva have proved that Gulaal is not their beti but their bahu!!

Less said about PB the better, taking Vasant's photo was cruel and such pettyness, felt like taking away Vasant again from her, and also tainted Gulaal with words that are not even made for Gulaal, vicious words

Kunal i said when i first met him, that he is the kind of guy she needs (with the bak bak-ness he does as well) and look at him, he has turned out to be a good guy, someone who can and will make Talli step forward, which in a way she is doing as well, and even more when they get married

I think the lyrics to this song suits KG, from Kesar's pov (it reminded me of them, for me this is a Dair song, which i heard on Gossip Girl it was played for Dan/Blair scene)
