Important decision on Gulaal( please read) - Page 3

Count me in! =) Gulaal Season 2!

But IF they end it really well... I would be satisfied. I do not want a diluted continuation. I do agree with you in that if they use the same cast but have maybe different roles and change the story. I'm down. This series has been amazing and the actors and so has this story of Gulaal. IF they don't do the ending justice and if there is more then yes continue the series. I really don't want it to end simply due to pressures.

It's the quality of Gulaal that keeps me in... and I would love to see another series with the same quality.

We want Gulaal back..Gulaal season 2 .. It is a serious talk and this thread should get greatest importance from all of us.😊 It is not an entertainment thread, but it counts for getting our entertainment back again on star plus. So we are expecting all of dedicated members should respond to this thread.

As for a comeback of this show - I'll be very honest (and a resigned realist?) in knowing that sequels for truly deserving shows (which are a rarity in the first place) don't really happen? Like everyone else, I want something as good as this show to go on for a long time, but I suppose the quality exists in its appropriate lifetime limit - in not trying to outlive what the original plot was. Again, perhaps I would have liked to watch GK as a willingly married couple, but maybe not! I'm little weird, cause the chase part is my favorite, in every love story 😆 The push and pull of their dynamics, and the entire process that underlies 'coming together' is (for me) the real story making and thereby selling content! So I could be just as content leaving it at that (with the condition that the end is aptly acquired) and then speculate about what after at random leisure moments of reminiscing about the show, or watching re-runs.

What I would very much like however, is to watch

A) this team of writers and production house get back together in the same grouping and give us more shows of such quality in the future.

B) For Mansi and Neil - together or not - to grab worthy TV projects for themselves soon as well - their onscreen skill is such a delight to watch, we're in dire need of such quality actors!

C) And finally, if, and only if, the exact same Gulaal team has a good and willing idea of season 2 - then perhaps, for the show to come back. My doubt for this option is, we've never heard of them having any such idea. (Again, comparing with the R.com team - the only show I ever wanted to watch season 2 for - that team had claimed, that although they didn't have a ready script, if things worked out, they had good idea of what to do with season 2... so it sort of made sense.)

Anyway - my opinion. At the end, we've all loved this show, and thoroughly enjoyed its high quality in every form of execution - so we're going to miss it terribly, this way or that. The saddest part is that I got around to watching this show much later in the day; not to forget the fact that once Gulaal stops airing, there is really nothing on TV worth watching!

Oh well! About time I hit the books anyway 🤓

Thanks jzee for your sincere reply. I am surprised to see that not many people are willing to save gulaal or get another season as much as i was expecting. Maybe they havent see this thread yet. But i will be posting another one for the fans request.

A) They certainly need to make more serial with this kind of quality. But i got dishearted to see that not much of the audience were connected to the serial, mainly because how they misguided by the relationship of gulaal and kesar at the first place.

B) Agree, as i have said that they deserve to be in good quality serials like gulaal. But i would still like to see them together in another serial just once. I didnt get enough of them as much as i wanted to experience them. They complement eachother alot and thats what i liked the most about them.

C) I know they have never mention anything about gulaal season 2 because firstly they still dont know if the audience are intrested in watching another season since the first havent met the so called TRP's requirement. I wished to see gulaal season 2 but not as a continuity after their marige, but with the different story with the same concept of love that they shared in this serial.😊

Haha! thanks for voluntering sama😊 i have made the final post of requesting to save gulaal! Now i leave everything up to the forum members to vote or not. I will not going to force them anymore because Its really up to them to try or not to sent request. Whatever we will collect at the end of next week, will be emailed to the priduction house!
