Mota Bha asks Dushyant if what Kesar is saying is true, Dushyant doesn't respond but looks guilty with tears in his eyes, he flashbacks to his killing Vasant. Mota Bha holds his face and tries to direct it towards him asking him to say this is not true, he tells him he is his son and he should say its not true, Dushyant cannot meet his eyes and finally says yes, this is true. Everyone is shocked, Kesar is very relieved. Dushyant weeps and says its true, and bends down and holds Mota Bha's legs in forgiveness. Mota Bha weeps, picks Dushyant up and asks what has he done.
Saru cries saying what has Dushyant done, he killed his own brother. Paan Baa falls on the floor weeping. Mota Bha pushes Dushyant away and sits dejected. Dushyant looks at Vasant's photo and says since that day he has not been able to sleep and has been burning with guilt, and will always burn for the rest of his life. He then calls the police. Jamna asks him not to call the cops, she doesn't believe he did this, he tells her not to cry, in a moment of weakness he committed a crime that has overshadowed everything else in his life. Jamna weeps bitterly. The cops arrive.
Jamna keeps weeping and saying "no" over and over and holds onto Dushyant. Its so heartbreaking to see Jamna like this, such an amazing actress. Dushyant says he cannot ask anyone else for forgiveness but if possible she and Ghigha should not remember him in a negative manner. Jamna doesn't let Dushyant go and pleads with Ghigha to tell the cops to go away, Ghigha is ashamed of Dushyant.
Dushyant tells the cops that till today its not clear who caused the accident but Dushyant was the one to take away Vasant's last breath. Kesar is shocked to hear this - he thought Dushyant caused this accident all these years. Jamna falls on the floor and pleads with Mota Bha to not let Dushyant go to prison, not separate her from Dushyant. She tells Mota Bha to punish her but not do this to Dushyant. She then looks at Gulaal and pleads with her saying that Dushyant spent his entire life like a punishment, why is he being punished now as well, she tells Gulaal Mota Bha cannot refuse her. Dushyant asks Jamna to stop and tells her not to say anything to Gulaal, for 10 years she hid his crime and went through a lot of suffering. Everyone is completely shocked, and Mota Bha looks like he could just kill her. Dushyant says that she gave him the chance to live the life of a good person and killed the bad person inside of him, all these years that he was in front of Jamna was Gulaal's favor, he will always remain indebted to her. He goes to leave when Jamna yells out his name and falls on the floor in a complete breakdown, Mota Bha glares at Gulaal. Ghigha and Sudha take Jamna inside.
Mota Bha walks towards Gulaal and asks if she knew about Vasant, Gulaal doesn't respond, he asks angrily if all these years she kept this sin hidden from all of them, Kesar looks at Gulaal concerned and moves towards her in a protective stance. Mota Bha demands to know, Gulaal responds that she knew, Mota Bha and Paan Baa are totally flabbergasted and cannot believe their ears, Kesar's only concern is Gulaal.
Precap: Kesar pulls Gulaal's arm and asks her to come with him when Paan Baa holds her arm and says no, Gulaal will not go anywhere, nobody here is her family now, she will no longer stay in this house. Paan Baa says this very wickedly.
Kesar's finding out that Dushyant didn't cause this accident is good because now he will investigate. Gulaal has been so wrong about everything. She refused to discuss this matter with Kesar and it came to this, had she discussed the manner in which Dushyant killed Vasant Kesar would have investigated more and found out Durgesh's hand in it. Gulaal also didn't let Kesar talk to Dushyant and all the time kept shutting him off, his anger grew so much that it erupted. Kesar also knew this for 10 years, but Kesar was a 12 years old child, you cannot expect that kind of maturity from someone so young. He was also not at home - he was in the hostel. Had he been at home he would not have resisted and would have told everyone the truth a long time back no matter what Gulaal said. He wanted to tell the truth but Gulaal stopped him. Gulaal had no right to hide this truth from Vasant's parents, they deserved some closure. I don't remember if Gulaal knew how Dushyant killed Vasant.
I think Saru will play a big part in reuniting the family. She will understand Gulaal's perspective and try to make things better, and Kesar will always be by her side. Why else would this drama happen in front of her, and what else would her purpose be.
