So I hadn't intended pulling off an MIA act after posting, but very much staying on for the discussion - which I sadly missed - but something(s) came up... so anyway!
UST - lol!!! I wasn't sure I should elaborate, so I trusted Google to help in case the term didn't explain itself 😆 Yup - Unresolved Sexual Tension - wasn't it all over their scenes?! Except the flowers vs lights war of course, which was simply unresolved galool-ing 😆

Kulli scene was quite decent. Maybe because Talli responded and smiled somewhat.
The intensity of their love would never let them stay friends (silly people).
THE TENSION in the bedroom before Kesar left was sooo palpable. It was hard to think that these 2 are the same people who were pulling each other's legs in the day yet at night they're finding excuses to avoid each other.
I was trying to understand why Gulaal didn't lie down and sleep. I couldn't figure if she felt too embarrassed or whether it was because she didn't feel right lying down when he was sitting on the chair. If it's the latter like you said then seriously hats off to the writers for the way they've penned this beautiful relationship.
@Reemz I clipped parts of your comment that I especially liked and quoted them above in bold. In reference to the latter most, over Gulaal not sleeping easy I honestly did account it to Kesar's unease, and the unfairness that she shouldn't share the condition. Remember the first time he went on the rooftop and she sent that duvet through Talli? That had been another time she knew it wasn't fair on him, but because of their then strain, sending a duvet was all she'd do! Not like she slept easy that night either!
All these current nights that she's been sleeping easy with Kesar sleeping out - as we now know - is on account of the fact that they commonly understand and accept this as an amicable decision... she doesn't have the guilt of inconveniencing him... and their bond is back on track for that to be quite okay between 'friends' [oh on that note, I echo the silly people thinking they can be just friends ... yeh right! 😆 ] Yesterday was different, A) because Gulaal had already gone through a day of forbidden things spoken aloud to her, lol! B) she can't really wall out Kesar now, can't and doesn't want to I believe... but it doesn't do anything to fix the 'UST' in between 😆 C) It wasn't really Kesar's fault that SD saw him and gave them both an earful... and she knows he wont take the bed and make her sleep on the floor... when he takes the chair... there's no way she can find rest in comfy sleep! Or so goes my theory!

Another phase of evolution for KG and once again so well handled...in any other show, scenes of "awareness" like this...especially something like say the hand on mouth one are thrown in SO early into the game in a so called "lowe story" that you're just left rolling your eyes...but with KG...seeing their entire history and then them reaching this point...where Gulaal finally starts to become aware...because atlast she herself has taken down the barriers she had so rigidly constructed around her, it is now that her heart is being allowed to wake up in a sense as well. I also liked that the writers made Gulaal aware first in that scene before Kesar...and it is later that he backs off...
as for how Kesar approaches this...I think Kesar's feelings for Gulaal are so multi-layered that it's hard to peg them even in one moment..
and I'm still not sure if he thought she became aware or if it was just her typical discomfort...I'm not sure Kesar is the brightest bulb to figure that out yet...he's not expecting it you see :P
Now coming to the really interestingly played out scenes...the ones in their room...LOL...seriously I was so amused to watch these scenes...their expressions especially...kudos to the actors for playing the awkwardness just right...not over the top, not underplayed...just right and so natural...it seemed believable...cuz this is the one topic neither of them have addressed directly...they've managed to be comfortable in all other ways than this...this that is forced upon them all of a sudden and now they have no choice but to be faced with that awareness...what a fantastic way to depict it...the chemistry, the awareness...the awkwardness...like Reemz said in her post, all day long they can yap away to glory but all of a sudden they were finding it difficult to TALK also...lol...ultimately falling back to what they know best...trying to make each other comfortable...you go to sleep...no you sleep on the bed😆...such few dialogues but the tension in the air could be cut with a knife...the awareness is increasing big time and in a very natural way...Gulaal clutching her ghoonghat so tightly that entire time like some kind of defense mechanism was really amusing me too...she just couldn't manage to relax enough to go to sleep...LOL...and obviously he can't either cuz he has to stay up all night just in case he sees she needs a pillow or blanket again...standard Kesar duty...lol...no seriously how much of a sweetheart can this guy be??
JK etc's bitterness towards KG will increase and I think they will plot to keep them apart in order to eliminate any future possibility of them getting together and ultimately producing an heir?
@Nur - marked in bold bits of your comment too. Love what you say about Kesar not being the brightest bulb 🤣 and Gulaal holding her ghoongat like her life depends on it for the night 🤣
As for the pull and get close scene, and then get all conscious - it flowed out in the most natural way ever. I've always loved the way this show doesn't pull off camera work in your face (with rare exceptions like the time in the jeep they got Neil's face into the cam, lol!) but for a scene like that one I was delighted to find no extra emphasis on every part of the body that touched and how for like countless many moments as if the world had just stopped... gosh, do I get annoyed with those 'hawt' scenes of 'lowe' in general! This was natural...it started as you say in spontaneity and impulse and Kesar rambled away with Gulaal actually trying to protest in the beginning, before the touch itself rung an alarm! and then she just pulled away - without taking a year to stare at him *rolls eyes* it was the most natural way to show awareness, without overdoing it, and like you said, only in eventual time... this is not the 2nd, 3rd time they met... this has taken it's time... In a way, it was as natural as the time Gulaal had hi-fived Kesar after winning her round of hopscotch... at that point too, I'd appreciated the insinuation of attraction - lingering around Kesar - but no over done contact... that's how it would be 'naturally'!
As for the bedroom scenes - especially the last bit with SD telling them off and the two of them with looks of kids who haven't done homework for the nth time... LOL! They were so cute and awesome! And the way Kesar jumped back from when Gulaal woke up to his pillow inserting concern - 🤣 I was all over my couch laughing...!!!
