Kunal's mother says that they can overcome people's talks by a big dowry. The black spot on Talli's character is a burden on Mota Bha's family which they are willing to take over. Kesar tells Mota Bha he is sorry but he doesn't think they should marry their Talli in this family, these people are not worth Talli. Kunal's father asks if they called them to get insulted, Mota Bha says his son is right, he doesn't want to send his daughter to their house, Kunal's mother says that girl is not their daughter, she is an orphan, that is why this happened to her and her marriage also broke, how can they believe there is nothing wrong with her, they are doing her a favor. Kunal yells out to his mother asking how she can be so petty about someone else. He apologizes to Mota Bha and says that he likes Talli and wants to marry her, he is willing to wait for their decision and most of all Talli's decision. His parents are under other people's influence but they will soon see how good Talli is. His parents are shocked and they all leave. I am not sure if Kunal is good or bad. One scenario is that Talli is happy with him and Gulaal feels happy and no longer guilty. Scenario 2 is that Kunal is somehow connected with Durgesh and refuses to marry Talli again at the altar, and Dushyant decides to marry her to save her character. Gulaal will then feel guilty and I don't know how she will move on. Not sure where this story is going.
Jamna tells Dushyant that they are at fault, not the guy's parents, Talli will never get a better guy. They should have agreed. Dushyant says the guy is good, he will do inquiry about the guy and his family. Jamna then taunts him that he is not willing to marry, and if Raman doesn't have a kid then they will not carry their father's line. Dushyant makes an excuse and leaves. Jamna tries to convince Sudha to marry Talli, Sudha refuses because Talli has to spend her life with the family. Jamna tells her to ask Talli, what if she likes Kunal, Sudha says she will talk to her.
Jamna grumbles and sees Raman talking on the phone. She tells Raman to convince Sudha to marry Talli, even if it means paying the parents. Raman's phone rings and he doesn't pick up the phone. Raman asks her who this family is, Jamna says they don't know details. Raman says he will talk to Sudha, Jamna leaves. His phone rings and he says he has a way to return their money in a few days. He looks down and sees Talli walking and thinks he never imagined that the obstacle in his path will show him his path.
Talli is in the temple crying. Sudha tells her that she will not allow anyone to force Talli to marry Kunal. Talli tells her to get her married but Sudha refuses, Talli then tells her that she likes Kunal. Sudha leaves. Talli flashbacks to the time when Kesar hurled the flowers garland and it fell around Talli's neck and she has romantic fantasies about him, she kept the garland safe and she has the withered flowers in her hand. She flashbacks to her almost marriage when she and Kesar garland each other, she puts the garland of withered flowers before God, as if submitting her withered life to him and cries. I feel so bad for her, all her dreams have dashed, and she is willing to choose the first guy who comes her way. I really hope my scenario 2 doesn't come true.
Kesar is worried in his room and asks Gulaal if because of his mistake Talli will have to face injustice. Gulaal says they will manage Talli. Gulaal's friends come to take leave, Gulaal says that because of them she was able to relive her childhood after so many years, she is so happy today. They ask what is she going to do after three months, will she be able to find a reason to be happy. Gulaal is shocked at how they found this out. They tell her that it will make a big difference if she breaks the deeyarvattu, Kesar loves her a lot. Gulaal says its impossible, she cannot explain the circumstances under which the deeyarvattu happened, she had no choice, but the situation is different now. Her friends say there is a deep connection between situations and fate, and if despite not wanting she had to do deeyarvattu then maybe this is God's will, maybe Kesar is in her fate.
Gulaal tries to convince them, they tell her that they have seen how much Kesar loves her and cares about her. She says that this is not love but misunderstanding which has to break. They tell her that she is blind to the difference between love and misunderstanding, only because of her Kesar went to break the deeyarvattu, if this is not love then what is it. Her childhood memories have been brought back to life only because of Kesar, he met and spoke to so many people to find the friends' addresses and asked them not to say anything to Gulaal and increase her confusion. If this is not love then what is. They tell her that she will probably realize her folly and stubbornness when Kesar is no longer in her life, but it will too late then, she should not reject something simply because she got it very easily, she has always tried to see what Kesar isn't, has she ever tried seeing what he really is, the truth is that she cannot find a better husband than Kesar.
Kesar comes there totally smitten and Gulaal turns her eyes away as if she sees his love for the first time and cannot bear to see it. He tells the friends to spend more days but they refuse. He tells them that he wants to capture their moment in his camera. He sees Gulaal unhappy and brings Champa and clicks their photo together, telling them that he will drop off a copy of the photo at their places. They say he should come but not alone, he should bring his wife Gulaal with him no matter how many months have passed. Kesar's smile fades since he realizes that they have mentioned to Gulaal about their knowledge of the 3 months thing. He looks very sad. They tell him that he is very nice, he should always remain this way for Gulaal. Kesar is really sad now, and he looks at Gulaal periodically, she is unable to meet his eyes, and he leaves the room. Gulaal flashbacks to her friend's words about his love.
Precap: Talli gives Kesar the engagement ring back and asks for the ring back that she put on him, he returns it, she smiles hiding her pain and he looks at her full of guilt.
