I don't know I got the feeling that he wanted to prove Gulaal that he is matured enough to defend her, that he understands her ...that he can stop any difficulty coming towards her, that she doesnot need to feel guilty or be embarassed of the situation? hmmm yes u r right, but gullu ji as usual, kesar !! yeh mere aur sudha bhabhi k bech ki baat hai !!! I dont know it felt like that...and Gulaal pushed him out of the picture...To certain extent it was right also...And he gets exasperated and leaves...
and then ofcourse JK speaks up and tells Sudha the cursing witch to shut up...
The scene in the corridor is again typical Kesar Gulaal scene...a moment ago she had told him to back off and the next moment he is here ...running after her, trying to make her understand,,,,
See...his maniacal behaviour is gone, now remains the hankering bacha, who is already to go round and round around her ...she is back, his world is balanced...
He knows the misunderstanding and is deeply hurt by it too...but still he can overcome everything when she is around...
And that is what he tells her...Everything that was done was done so that she can be with him, before his eyes...
I dont know if this would work with Gulaal...his declarations made in his own child like way actually make her more determined...I really dont think even she believes in what she is saying...But she is facing the brunt of what Kesar has done in his childishness...and for a woman who has been making decisions for others, it is now time to face the decisions made by others...Tough thing!!! ya ppl there, vr living their life under her decision making from the past 10 years, n now she is not able to bear the decision made by other person, wow 👏
Somehow the whole convo was a reiteration of this whole tug of war...but Gulaal's one line actually summed it up...'Pehle Vasant ke bina bhi maiin akeli thi aur ab tere saath bhi mein akeli hoon'...
I think that affected Kesar a lot...because after Vasant's death he had always considered themselves a duo...'Kavach' for each other...living for each other...the whole world against them...and both of them against the world but never alone...they had each other...even in the cold recesses of his hostel that is what he wrote on the letter..there was no one else ...but them...she was always with him...and now he is being told that she was always alone...that she had no one ...not even him, with her!!!! and his most cherished memories got tarnished... aray us kavach ko to gullu ne aag laga di 😡
Somehow reminded me of the movie Harry potter and the prisoner of Azkaban...and the one scene where the prof Lupin is trying to teach Harry about how to combat the dementors...Dementors are almost like your deepest and secretest fear that reigns your mind,...he told Harry to use his most powerful memories to combat against them...memories have that power..Those memories made Kesar survived 10 years of dementors in form of loneliness...and today that memory was just an illusion...and he lost his battle against the dementors... wow srush, lovely, amazing, beautifully described
That broke him..and the fatalistic blow in that plain sentence actually made him lose all his steam that he was running on since the day she had gone...that is the power she has on her...the one thing he had been championing since days..trying everything under the sun to achieve that... the moment Gulaal says this sentence, he leaves it...

If she feels like this then he would not be around her, not show his face to her...and what Kesar's zidd, his chants and delcaration of love could not do, his this one sentence did!!...It melted Gulaal,...
I loved how they blurred the other's faces to get the reaction of on their face when the latter was speaking...
The angsty Kesar could not do it what this Matured and defeated Kesar did ...and you could see the sadness of this all on Gulaal's face...She had always wanted him to be happy and successful stepping in Vasant's face, and knowingly or unknowingly ...she is the one who has taken away that...
She is the one who has rendered him this useless and pathetic...
But I guess for now Kesar has done the right thing...finally leaving Gulaal alone... exactly, i was wishing that right now this should be the decision made by kesar, he did absolutely right, zabardasti to gulaal vl never understand, gullu has to feel kesar's love, not to think that he is doing all zabardasti with her...
unlike his useless and brainless mother ..who actually came and almost undid what Kesar had built up...What was she trying to do!?????
Warning Gulaal off...'tu ladkhada na jaaye!' ...??? Oh!! I just loved the night scene...It actually showed their mindsetss sooo purely and correctly...without any dialogues between them.the scene was amazing...
The way Gulaal just sat there ...the time going tick tock and she unaware of teh whole thing...That is Gulaal na...stuck in the time somewhere and now trying to find her way back...as she told Paan ba...she needs to find herself back int this house...
And I just loved the look on Kesar when he sees Gulaal and her reaction on his coming...she is almost frightened out of her wits and as afraid as a deer..He is so damn hurt by that look na...
He doesnot even know how aggressive he was during the separation days...but now he is so hurt seeing her afraid of him, not understanding his intention, doubting him, punishing herself like this...
But now he cannot do anything... yes i agree, 😭
And that was one moment when she looks out of the window and sees him sleeping on the hard floor and she cries at their fate ...
what has become of them...This is the same Gulaal who just banged the window on his face when he had been shouting outside her house...and had not given him a glance when he had camped outside her house the whole night...
But today's Kesar had actually reminded and made her aware that what she is doing and thinking is wrong...she had not only made him worthless, helpless, defeated, she had actually driven him out of his own room and also displaced him from everybody's hearts as well!!!!!! she actually felt some thing at that time srush, oh i felt so so sad while watching all this
They both have lost their position in this house...
Ironically it is again the same position as it was years back...them against the world...but today it is worse because they are not together...
they are fighting individual battles...
and ofcourse it has to be Talli barging in na...just when Gulaal was feeling guilty of her actions towards Kesar...it has to be Talli guilt which has to take over...
But surprisingly now since her Wicked witch mother has gone berserk, talli suddenly is more matured than all the brains combined in the whole house...
Ironcially, both Kesaar and Gulaal actually stop her from going everytime and crave to talk to her...amazing na...and ofcourse because they so know that in between this whole hell ...this is one girl who has been wronged for no reason whatsoever...
And then Gulaal gives her the blanket for Kesar...
You know when Talli was actually putting the blanket on Kesar, I just wondered that he is so damn lucky...two woman taking care of him...and yet he is unhappy,,,,sometimes everything in the world is not enough and sometimes a moment of happiness is enough to last a life time..as is in the case of Gulaal...few moments with Vasant were enough for her to last teh life time..
The bacha is smart na...He feels the blanket,,.he sees Talli and sees the blanket...and knows where it has come from and looks back towards the window of his room... yar i felt at that time that aray talli aisay blanket urhaye gi to neend ki pills kha k soya admi bhi vl wake up, yeh bechara to abhi abhi soya tha 😆
You know he is not embarassed for a moment ..and neither a moment of confusion between them like he thinking that Gulaal has seen Talli putting blanket over him or something...it is just a spot on moment, where he knows where the blanket has come from and who has send it...he doesnot even smile in triumph or sadness...neither is he surprised..it is almost as if he expected this and just gave a look to her to confirm this... i was like shukar he came to know warna phir se talli talli talli sun kar hum hi talli ho jatay
The morning scene with Talli...well as I said...it seems like the terrrorist is kidnapped by aliens and they have put some clone over here to amaze us with her intellect...
But before that we have that one moment when Kesar comes back to his room and his eyes search for her...the big talks of not showing his face to her just evaporated ...and the first thing in the morning he wants to see is her...and when Talli calls him for breakfast The bacha is so afraid na...he remembers his promise and is so afraid to go out and be with her... the guy who defied everyone to get her is now balking at the thought... n u know what i felt, i think that he was horrified not to see gulaal in the room, i felt k he became so so afraid k kahin gullu phir se 9, 2, 11 to nahi hogayi 🤓, n seriously if u watch the again u vl see that when talli told him that woh nashta karne gayi hai to his expressions vr like thank God she is here...
And Talli makes him realize how he was wrong in doing all this and pressurizing her to come back...
You know I just realized that neither of them actually realize the wrong doings...Gulaal never realized that her step although taken for a great cause actually has triggerred everything..and Kesar doesnot realize that the step taken by him actually has sent everyone into frenzy..put both the families into jeopardy,...
and Ironically,..both did these things to keep the other safe and in the house...Gulaal did it for Kesar's safety and so that she did not have to leave the house..and Kesar did it for his own sanity and to keep her in the house too...This is an amazing tug of war... lovely 👏
but this time we have Talli the chhota cupid?? (hopefully) who is thunsoing some sense into Kesar..whether he wants to win Gulaal or lose her...chota cupid n thunsoing hahahahaha 🤣
I just love the change in his expressions when everytime this word is mentioned before him 'Lose gulaal'...that again makes him all lost in frenzy...
Amazing amzing equations...the ease, the unease, the tug of wars, and still that togetherness in everything...so makes this bond special na,,,
