Kesar's voice over was impactful. Gulaal read that in a hurry. What we heard in the episodes where Kesar was silently suffering by finding company or thrashing his own frustrations with the help of one of those letters.

When Gulaal came to Kesar's room to leave those letters, Kesar was just concerned if she has read all those letters. He was least bothered about how or when or through whom the letters reached her. He confirmed what he had confessed before that he was not just fastened to her from childhood; he has been in love with her since childhood too.

The amount of hurt was evident when she brushed it aside and confidently said that IT IS NOT LOVE. When she labels it as "attachment", he is more hurt and his eyes well up immediately. He comes forward to tell her she can convince herself in any way but not to belittle his love calling it as immaturity.

He makes it clear that he has loved her and HER ALONE in all these years and one day she will have to understand the truthfulness in his love. When she felt there was no point arguing, she left and Kesar was again hurt due to her rejection.

I think it's about time everyone and by everyone I mean Taali, Gulaal and Kesar get locked in a room and they have to work everything out. There's no point in running away from the problem. I can't believe Gulaal just said she's leaving after knowing all of that? I thought she was better than that - Guess not.

By that same token of an argument that Gulaal offers about Kesar's feelings isn't Talli's love just a crush on a poster boy? At least Kesar and Gulaal had spent some time in each other's company but Talli was fed stories.. I did like the fact in this scene that Kesar has continued quiet but determined tone with Gulaal even when her words were dismissive and hurtful about the letters. The letters did catalyze Gulaal's move away from the sasural - so they did make an impact...I wont be surprised at all if Kesar accompanies Gulaal whereever she goes...
I also think that if anything reciprocal has to evolve between the two, they need to spend some exclusive time alone...isnt there any village in the middle of the Kutch that needs water divination to which Kesar alone can and will have to escort this woman? They could end being stuck at an oasis for a day or two with only each other for company and small talk...
