Kesar's garba was freakin HOWLARIOUS🤣...Also the way he kept going "Bajaao!" and "Naacho!"...yes he's putting on an act but you can always sense his palpable angst and anger underneath and the real reason why he's putting on this sarcastic show to torment Gulaal...LOL but the scenes make you laugh somehow too cuz of how OTT-ly he was doing all this😆

In the earlier scenes, I did feel bad for Gulaal today...the dangerous edge to Kesar with the way he's saying all these double meaning lines and using every chance to scare Gulaal even more with the worst...he was being quite the brat in this epi, without a doubt.


The two most significant moments were definitely the ones Srushti mentioned in her post too...first Paanba telling Gulaal that she has no right over Kesar anymore and she can stop worrying about her now...she may have said it out of her her own feelings of hurt and anger that she wasn't consulted over such a huge decision about her son's life...Gulaal's god complex coming back to haunt her again but that line really hit Gulaal hard...Kesar too had said it to her in the maha epi but hearing it again was kind of a final blow...and that is why she then desperately turns to Kesar and offers to leave his life forever...the change of expression that comes over Kesar there...fantastically enacted by Neil...especially given how the entire epi was otherwise about a dangerous/borderline evil glint in his eyes...but the moment she said this to him, it's like something hit him full force and suddenly his entire body language softened...and a little boy lost kind of look came into his eyes again...

Till that moment, it had been a tussle of HAQ...but the moment Gulaal said that she'll LEAVE him, he froze in a kind of shock...that is one thing he cannot deal with...his world revolves around her...whether it is in hurt or in love...so I'm sure he will do everything in power now to not let her leave...and that's going to be the twist in the marriage.

And that is Kesar...tagging along her everywhere...wanting her presence everywhere...expects her to come to the school with him and also to be the first one to play holi with...

He gives that exclusiveness to her and wants that in return...Very true...everything begins and ends with Gulaal for him...even now every second moment he goes, "Kyun Gulaal?"😆


That was such a bacha like query...why did her world not revolve around him like before...?? why were their worlds different ...he could have asked him about Dushyant and his relationship with her...but he asks this...and Gulaal so remembers that and thats why she repeated that convo saying that she wil not be her Taqlif anymore...and he gets almost paralyzsed...he so wants this taqlif to BE his life😳 Ohhh the drunk Kesar scene...yeah the way he so painfully asks her why their worlds are different?...The anger starts with him confused about her and Dushyant's relationship but ofcourse the root of all hurt is that only...that she no longer lets him into her world or comes to his world like she used to...their worlds were in each other...but now that's not there...and that hurts him beyond measure...and it's so interesting how in denial Gulaal is...when he called her his taqleef THAT time, she was spooked...unnerved...but now she's turned that around on him and is offering to remove this "taqleef" called Gulaal from his life...when like you said...he actually wants that taqleef to be his life...that taqleef brings him pain but his world revolves around that very taqleef.


And they both are so similar in some ways..Just like Gulaal didnot see the enormity of her decisions, Kesuda did not see this one...He did not see it this way that his marriage means saying goodbye to Gulaal..for him even her anger, her take control attitude, her slaps are acceptable..but not having her around is just not acceptable...Yes, that is what was powerful about that moment...cuz that's the moment when Kesar realizes the enormity and implications of his decision...he could have dealt with any other fallout but the very THOUGHT that Gulaal would no longer be in his life shook the ground beneath his feet...that shook him out of this haze of anger that is driving his sarcastic game with Gulaal...Like you said, he can live with the hurt she gives him too but he can't live WITHOUT her.


And for Gulaal ..now she knows where she would be if this marriage happens...she would be nobody ...neither Vasant's widow nor Kesar's wife...and her right over Kesar was also snatched away...and if Kesar tortures Talli then her protege is also gone...so where does she stand>??? nowhere!!!! Yep she's dealing with that realization but interestingly enough she's still desperate enough to even offer to leave Kesar's life forever...she also has not thought this through fully...the way Kesar is now realizing that he cannot live without her in his life...pain and all...she too will realize that she may SAY it, but she cant' live without Kesar either...can't live without the haq she has always exercised on him either no matter what she says in anger.


And KEsar is defo not letting her go anywhere...she is his torment..she is her salvation...as I love to say...So wonderfully put, Srushti👏...totally agree
