I just had this random thought; even though it is just a show and many of us are dearly attached to it. Sometimes we think why can't Gulaal just fall in love with Kesar already. But what if we were on the other side. What would you do if you were in this situation?

What makes a show realistic is when a person/viewer can imagine themselves in the show. When I try and imagine my self there, I definately wouldn't want to be Gulaal. Right now she is stuck in such a position where half her family says move on with Kesar and the other says let Talli have him. And because Kesar was her devar makes it so much harder to change your mind especially when thier marriage took place when Kesar was soo much younger (his age 10).

And we haven't even gotten to Gulaal's internal confusion what is yet to come when she develops feelings for Kesar.

I personally wouldn't know what to do if I was in her place.

What I liked was that Kesar was sent away for the 10 years. Or else the transition we hope to see in Gulaal's thoughts for Kesar would be soo much harder. Seeing him grow up and than he's her husband. It sounds awkward and more yuck, shall I say 😆. So I really like that he went to the hostel even though he hated it.😛 Because she saw him after years maybe it will be a little easier?

Its easy to say she should do this or that, but its funny how everything becomes so much harder to decide when you imagine your self in that place.

So the question is what would you do if you were in her place? After these thoughts do you still think the same.

P.S I'm a Kesar-Gulaal fan too :P and sorry if the post is not liked, I was really bored and had thoughts that I wanted to share.

hey starasdf i hav done dat couple of times n dats how i analyse dem.

though personally i c little gulaal in myslf n more kesar.

bt yu r right nthing is really easy fr gulaal bt as yu very rightly mentioned kesars ten year stay away frm gulaal can make things easier fr her.

nomater wat bond dey shared or watevr feelings gulaal had fr kesar bt it was dat tym wen kesar was a kid.Time changes evrything n den 10 years z a pretty long time...A DECADE.

da only thing i dnt lyk about gulaal is her overconcern for talli.othrwz da gal has suffered n is suffering a lot n i feel full sympathy fr her.

If I was at Gulaal's place, then I would have never thought that one day Kesar will fall in love with me. That itself would have never crossed me because of the age difference and also because of their relation. I would have always thought about Kesar, his well being , his education and also that one day he will get one good girl.Because I know he cant fall in love with me, he cannot consider me as his wife. All that was just a circumstantial ritual. Just because I did deeyarvattu I cannot spoil his life. That would have been my line of thought if I was Gulaal.

But wat if one day Gulaal comes to know that her thoughts were wrong about Kesar. He is infact loving her as his wife which Gulaal would have never even imagined of.? Just think about it..It is difficult for her.

But what about Kesar ?

Here Gulaal went wrong. Kesar started seeing gulaal as his wife right after deeyarvattu subconsciously. As he grew up he started loving her. Thats why I dont mind him getting physically attracted too. And he might have this thinking the gulaal will also consider him as husband.

So now that Gulaal came to know that Kesar is falling for her.This is something which she never in her dreams would have thought of. thats why she broke down today . She does not how to handle Kesar's feelings and how to reciprocate to that. Now that , she knows kesar likes him I do see chances of her developing feelings for him too. Why not ? After all its been a 10 years gap and he is different person now. He is not that kid anymore. He can take his own decision than how can she force him to do which he does not want to. She is realising it slowly and moreover his acceptance of Gulaal as his wife is a big big thing for her. If I was at Gulaal place I would have cried buckets like the way she did today upon realising his love for her.

Certainly if I was in Gulaal's postion I'd find Kesars feelings for me, confusing and frightening, and I'd proberly want some alone time from him, amd family. But one thing that I would start doing is be less forceful, and dedicated in my convincing Talli that she will marry Kesar!!

Clearly, if nothing else, Gulaal must see now that Kesar can not love or marry Talli by force. Didnt she go through that whole scenerio with Dushant, were he tried to make her love and marry him.

Someone should ask her that question, what gave gulaal the right to turn down Dushant, vasant or no vasant?

And no matter how awkward, If gulaal is struggling to see Kesar as a grown man that think of him as a boy and sit him down to talk, like she used to do, anything but ignore it!! This is a women who went against her parents and village to help a neighbouring village!!

Yeahh I agree that she should stop forcing Talli on to Kesar, but maybe now the presure for him to marry her might increase.

Now that shes starting to realise he has feelings for her maybe to drive him away she will push Talli towards him more hoping that he would forget her

I dont want that to happen but I think this is what shes going to do because once again relating it to the post, if I was her, it would be an option. But as a 3rd persons view its obviously not a smart move.

Gulaal is definitely confused and so is Kesar because he knows that he has feelings for her but I don't think he realizes that it is love. At the moment he just feels extremely protective, possessive and wants her all to him...but then again that is exactly how he felt when he was a child. Gulaal has never loved anyone but Vasant and that is evident even now...I think she is still waiting for him. As someone had mentioned in another post...Gulaal needs to read Kesars letters and Kesar needs to read her diary so that they can really understand what each of them is going through and has gone through...Gulaal actually looked so scared and confused in yesterday's episode...

Gulaal cannot force Talli upon him...that is unfair. I mean think about it...even if he did not have feelings for Gulaal, he was away for 10 years and who knew if he had fallen in love with some girl in his school / college? Gulaal needs to take a step back and let the chips fall where they may...

Where is Jamunaba when we need her? Surely she will oppose this marriage between Talli and Kesar! It is too soon for something like this to happen. Both Gulaal and Kesar need some time with each other to understand their feelings...

Well said!! Although I don't think Talli has it in her to bring K and G together. I think she is a very selfish person...even at the puja yesterday, all she was concerned about was her puja. When Gulaal offered the thread from her thaali to Talli, she should have said..no Gulaal, you go ahead. All she thinks about is herself. Luckily Gulaal's mother stepped in! The whole chunnar incident has again gone to show how selfish and naive Talli is...Kesar got so angry with her and yet all she cares about is...Gulaal, do you think he will marry me? She just wants to get married to Kesar without a thought...just like a child wants a toy at any cost!

but the thing is she has not yet realised that it is Gulaal whom Kesar loves. Soshe might change once she knows that else if she doesnt then she will be the most selfish person.
