Gori chehre pe surkhi hai laal laal laal...
Meri nazron k teeron ko thora sambhaal...
Laal kyun na hon, main to hun khud hi Gulaal ❤️

Hey just came in my mind that Gulaal n Kesar r really meant to be together, even both the names r associated with colors, Kesar gives orange color but if Kesar is seen before it is mixed in water or milk, it is also in red color, n gulaal also refers to mainly red color, red is the color of blood without which thrz not even concept of life, it is very very important for one to be alive, it is the base without which every happiness, every sorrow, every pain, every joy is meaning less... when flow of blood is fine, every cell, every organ of ur body functions properly (not talking about the organs getting disturbed due to disease etc) n life is thr, every thing becomes so meaning full 😃, mostly it is the color for brides n marriage, again it is important when they r starting a new era of their life, n most importantly red is the color of love 😃 love, which gives life its meaning, it makes life, a living heaven...

👏👏👏👏👏👏 beautifully written ! yes red colour is colour of marriage colour of love and kesar coluor is the sindoori, vermillion or kumkum colour...in rural india like rajasthan gujarat mp bihar this orange vermillion is highly significant its considered as the most scared sindoor even more than the red one...this colour is rendered to the godesses..this is the colour of lord krishna...even in rural areas marriages are performed with this orange sindoor first of all groom applies this orange sindoor on women forehead thereafter they may put kumkum (red sindoor) ...

and one more point the kumkum or the red sindoor is made from saffron (kesar) dired saffron with slaked lime gives the kumkum colour

.basically gulaal is the colour which means red colour the symbol of love and marriage and kesar is orange colour or sindoori colour which is the most scared colour...
