Hey i also think she was 18 or 19 because when vasant asked her friend (who was fooling vasant about neerja n all as gulaal told her to) that how old is she or something like that, she told she is 19 years so gulaal might also be some whr between 18 or 19 😃 so in that case, gulaal is 28 or 29 right now n kesar is 22 😃 not so big age difference, itna to chalta hai boss, the thing which matters is kesar loves her with his heart n soul n deep inside gulaal also has some feelings for him 😆, i m very happy with that 😍...

we have no problems man! but there are some who are "disgusted", so to speak. so to allow them to see the "ideal" love there're looking for.. i personally think they both are awesome together.. i would personally kill to be in gul's position. 😳😆

Good to know about d age difference..but for me..age is no barrier in husband-wife relationship...Its all about love,care,responsibility towards
each other...n for Kesar-Gulaal..they are meant for each other from d day 1..as it was written in their..destiny..Now Gulaal has no other way than Kesar as everyone has to date with d destiny..😳

This question about age keeps coming up, and there have been so many different theories so far based on things that have come up in the story.

I had missed the beginning episodes of Gulaal and was watching them recently. When Vasant first goes to look for Gulaal in the very beginning, there is a scene in which he is talking to some villagers about a girl named Neerja. They tell him that there was a baby by that name who was named by some priest, and they remembered because the naming happened so late in age. After that, Vasant says something like "15 years ago, she was 5 years old, so it must be the same girl." That kind of implies that she was 20 when they met. I'll see if I can find the video again on YouTube and will post the link.

Still, I think there have been so many conflicting things that have been said. In the end, as it was said, it's not important. Gulaal is older than Kesar, but they are married; and, in the end, it's a sweet love story and about their special bond.

I'm more concerned about the current track and hope they don't completely mess up the story! 😕

I bet these people who hate the age gap wouldnt say anything if the man was 10/15/20 years older than the woman! Such prejudice and small mindedness! Age is no barrier when it comes to love!

I think Kesar was 12 and Gulaal was 18, then now she will be 28 and Kesar 22. By the way I dont think lookwise there is a huge age gap between them. Plz share your opinion @bold
