Thats it, she is in love with marrying Kesar, and doesnt sometimes feel like she is in love with Kesar himself, like you say she has grown up dreaming of marrying so nothing else matters, coz i havent seen even check what Kesar's fave food or colours or anything is, everything needs to be asked to Gulaal, which makes me think didnt you ask in the last 8 yrs or something

I think you've summed up Talli she's more in love with marrying Kesar then anything else

No offence to gulaal fans but right now I m equally annoyed by gulaal attitude towards kesar and talli''and if she don't stop her brilliant idea I think both of them don't deserve kesar''becoz none of them want to understand his feeling they just want to do whatever they want

I guess Gulaal has not only told Talli but also convinced herself that the best option is to get Kesar married to Talli. Except it's safe to say that she won't actually be happy from within if Kesar-Talli happen.

@peacefulblossom: Sometimes I think to get rid of the guilt of marrying Kesar when he was so young, she's programmed herself to believe everything will be ok and Kesar will be able to move on easily.

I actually dont blame Gul as such, because from before Talli was Kesar this and Kesar as they were kinda best friends well Talli was around Kesar alot, so Gul just kinda made a reference to Talli being the one to get married, and Talli just needed that to grow up she and Kesar are one and will be married but the way Talli views Kesar and the idea of just being married to him, isnt good coz like you said she is in love with that fact then Kesar itself, all she sees is she and Kesar will be married and so on

Gul always said she will find a bride for Kesar anyhow, but i think it was wrong to say to a 12 yr old girl that she will marry Kesar even though this thing was obviously in Gul's mind even back them

And like you say when the time comes will Gul be happy from within to see Kes-Talli happen assuming that she feels more for Kesar

She promised to find someone for Kesar and then told herself that Talli is the right person.

I think she might be just tired...in the context after Vasant dying shes been fighting with everyone and herself too stay here and achieving his dreams. How that Kesar is grown up she wants to end the story and let Kesar continue. And Talli seems the easy and obvious choice. She's been hiding her heartbreak for so many years she just wants some freedom.

Its noted that Gulaal doesnt comment about her marriage to Kesar much....she kind of avoids the subject...but no one can change that they are married.

I feel sorry for Talli in some ways....she wasn't even thinking about Kesar like that until Gulaal pointed it out. And she kind of got brainwashed. But I can see why Gulaal thought that two childhood friends can become lovers.

But can Talli really say she's in love with Kesar? Does she even know Kesar yet? To love someone you need to embrace both their good and bad. Talli is in love with an idea (marry Kesar adn staying in the house)....is she really in love with the person?

I'm trying not to analysis much until I finished watching the old parts...but come in to see what you guys are talking about.

^Both of you are right. Who put the idea of marrying Kesar in to Talli's mind? Gulaal. Till then she was just Kesar's best friend but as soon as you give a child some hope that they will get this when they grow up, they just assume they will obtain it. Otherwise she has no reason to be IN LOVE with Kesar.

Talli i will say got attached to Kesar in a friends way, and even innocently when Kesar was going away she said 'i will wait for you' - Talli has been aware of Kesar even in her childhood days as such but i could also name that as a best friend mode esp as her mother passed away and she only had a father and in Kesar's house and with Gul and ppl in there, she became associated with them etc - she felt comfy amongst them etc

I think your right that at this point if you see the maha-episode again Gul did say when she was talking with Vasant, that she made a promise that she will fulfill his dream but it seems Kesar isnt even up to that mark yet and all she wants to do it full-filled and be free of it as such

Yep they dont all comment on it, like i said to the outside village its their identity and such, now they are grown up there is a difference to how they were before and now.... which is coming into play a such

I think Talli has been summed up now - that she is in love with the idea of marrying Kesar, i dont see her in love with Kesar just him at all in a way, she even has to ask him how does she look, what does he think - its like forcing him to look at her and so on. the question you ask is right, is she actually in love with Kesar? she doesnt even know this Kesar well at all........

Thats why even last week or so, i was like all she does is pray for him to come back and she doesnt even know this Kesar at all, so what is she expecting, him to just fall all over her........ and hopes of marrying him
