CHAPTER 30

JINDAL BHAVAN,
NEXT MORNING,

AK wakes up from her sleep which she had hardly caught for just 2 hours because of the bad headache she was having since last night. She got up from the bed and started searching around her room but she couldn't find anything and then she remembered that now she is in Jindal Bhavan and not in her own house. She gets out of the room to go to Revati's room but was welcomed by none other than Antara. Antara was hell shocked to see her in AJ's shirt.

Antara: Ye to Akshat ka shirt hai na, tumne ise kyun pehna hai?

AK: Subah subah tumse jhagda karne ka mood nahi hai mujhe. Ja kar apna kaam karo(she said holding her head)

Antara: Jhagda to karungi hi na tumne mere pati ka shirt pehna hai. Ab jab tak mujhe mera jawaab nahi mil jata mai yahan se nahi jane wali.

AK: Oh, I am so sorry. Mujhe to yaad hi nahi tha ki unki koi patni bhi hai.

She walked past her to the stairs trying hard to ignore her.

Antara: Baat ghumane ki zaroorat nahi hai. Seedhe seedhe jawaab do, kahin aisa to nahi ki tum mere pati ko apne khoobsurati ke jaal me phasana chahti ho.

AK: Shut up!! Just shut up! Tumhari bakwaas sunne ke liye nahi hun mai is ghar me. Isiliye behtar yehi hoga ki tum abhi isi waqt mere saamne se chali jao.

Antara: Kyun jaun mai? Ye mere pati ka ghar hai to mai yehi rahungi. Tum jao yahaan se.

AK: I said just keep your creepy mouth shut! Just leave me.

She felt a hard pain at the back of her head. It was like someone was continuously hitting her hard from a hammer. She walked down few steps holding her head but each step of hers increased her pain more than ten times. Giving up, she sat on one of the steps, resting her head on the side railing and pulling her hair expecting that it would reduce her pain. She started screaming coz of her pain. Each scream echoed in her ears which only helped to intensify her pain. She screamed louder this time which made all the members of the family rushed to her. AJ and Revati went to her side. She was looking devastated with her messed hair, swollen-red eyes, wet cheeks and bleeding lips which she had bite to reduce her pain.

Revati: Di, kya hua?

AK: Me..mera.... sar... Uhhhh.... Nah..nahi......ho...ra...

Revati: Di, please shaant ho jaaiye. Kuchh nahi hoga.

AJ: Revati, ise hospital le jana hoga. Vardaan, gaadi nikalo.

Revati: Nahi, please doctor ko yehi bula lijiye. Please...

AJ: Haalat dekho iski.

Revati: Please inhe room me le chaliye aur doctor ko bulaiye. Pleaseeeee...

AJ: Ok.

He picks her up in his arms while she snuggled into him clutching him tightly as if her life was dependent on him. She was crying uncontrollably. He took her into her room and laid her down on the bed. He was about to leave but she holds him close and starts crying more. He tries to console her but to no avail. She pushed her head back into the pillow expecting it's softness to reduce her pain. She crushed the bedsheet in one of her fists enduring the pain and the other was holding his hand. She started crying more and more and atlast she fainted as the pain became unbearable for her.

Doctor: Abhi behosh hai ye, kuchh der me inko hosh aa jayega. Shayad, inhone apni daily medicines nahi li isiliye unki ye haalat hai. Jaise hi inhe hosh aaye aap unhe unki medicines de dijiye. Aur dhyaan rakhiye ki ye zyaada stress na le.

AJ: Thankyou doctor.

The doctor leaves.

Revati: Di ke medicines yahaan nahi hai, mai abhi ja kar laati hun.

AJ: Revati tum yehi ruko, Vardaan chala jayega. Tum use us medicine ka naam batado.

Revati: Naam to yaad nahi hai. Saari dawaiyan us ghar me hai. Shayad, is medicine ki pic hogi mere paas. Mai check karti hun.

AJ: Ok.

She finds the pic and shares it to Vardaan and he leaves to bring the medicine.

AJ: Matlab isi dawaayi ke liye wo kal raat tumhare paas aana chahti thi.

Revati: Mere paas? Kal raat?

AJ: Haa.

Flashback,

After speaking to him, she goes back to her room to sleep but she starts searching for something. He observes her and questions about it but she ignored him. She was about to leave the room to go to Revati but he stopped her.

AJ: Kahaan ja rahi ho?

AK: Revati ke paas?

AJ: Jab mai upar aa raha tha to uske room ka darwaza band tha. Shayad, wo so gayi.

AK: Wo so gayi?

AJ: Ha.

AK: Ok.

AJ: Kuchh.....

Before he could speak further she goes back to her room and lays down on the bed.

Flashback ends.

Revati: Shayad wo mere paas medicines ke liye hi aana chahti thi. Lekin mere paas nahi the.

AJ: Mujhe bhi wahi laga. Kya peoblem hai ise? I mean aise achanak se kya hogaya ise? Kal tak to thik thi ye.

Revati: Wo Di ko kabhi kabhi aise attacks aate rehte hai.

AJ: Aate rehte hai matlab? Kuchh to reason, koi bimaari ya kuchh?

Revati: Mujhe nahi pata, agar ye apne medicines skip kar deti hai to usually aisa hota.

AJ: Wo medicines kis liye?

Revati: Kaha na mujhe nahi pata.....

AK: Nah...nahi....no....not again....no....plea....please......no....
She was murmuring in her unconscio

us state. Everyone's attention was back to her. Revati caressed her head to calm her.

Revati: Di, kuchh nahi hua hai. Sab thik hai, ham sab hai aapke paas. Di, aankhein kholiye.

AK: No...no.....na..nahi....NOOO!!!!!

She woke up with a loud scream. She started crying again. Revati just hugged her to provide her with comfort she needed but she wasn't successful in doing so.

Revati: Di, kuchh nahi hua hai. Calm down!! Please. Everything's fine.

AK: Wo...wo car, wo...ac...accii.... accident, w...wo..wo..acci.. accident......mer...meraa...bachha... usne...usne....mere bache....bache ko....maar diya....maar...maar diya usne.....(she spoke between her sobs)

Revati: Kuchh nahi hua hai, koi accident nahi hua hai. Trust me sab thik hai.(she said cupping her face but she jerked her hands away)

AK: NAHI!!! Usne ....usne maar diya...mera...mere bache ko maar diya usne.....us accident me...maar diya usne....MERA BACHHA!!!

Revati was trying hard to console her but she wasn't listening to her. Vardaan returns with the medicines and she forcefully made her have it with a glass of water. AJ was observing her and then he just pulled her into his embrace hiding her in his chest. She was sobbing and he was caressing her hair to calm her. After few minutes, she calms down and when he pulls himself away to see her, he finds her eyes closed and gets worried.

Revati: Ghabrane ki zaroorat nahi hai, wo bas so gayi. Is dawaayi se neend aati hai.

AJ: Ok.

He makes her lay down on the bed carefully and covers her with the blanket. Everyone leaves the room to let her rest.

LIVING ROOM,

AK was descending the stairs speaking to her driver on the phone.

AK: Arey, aap samajh nahi rahe hai, it's a paid leave. Aap ko bachhon se zyaada injury huyi hai. Jab tak aap poori tarah se thik nahi ho jate tab tak aap kaam par nahi aayenge and it's final.

She ends the call and looks at everyone who were looking at her with shock.

AK: Aise kyun dekh rahe hai aap sab mujhe? Aur Revati tumne mujhe uthaya kyun nahi mujhe shooting ke liye jaana hai. Late ho jaati mai agar mai nahi uthti to.

Revati: Di, aap shooting ke liye ja rahe hai?

AK: Ha, aur mera shooting bag kahaan hai? Rajiv ne yahaan kyun la kar rakha tha mujhe samajh nahi aa raha hai.

She asks one of the maids to search for it.

Revati: Aapki tabiyat thik nahi hai, aapko rest karna chahiye. Shooting baad me bhi ho sakti hai na.

AK: Kuchh nahi hua hai mujhe.

Revati: Di, abhi aap...

AK: Revati, wo kuchh ghanto pehle ki baat thi, ab mai bilkul thik hun.

Revati: Lekin Di.....

AK: Dekho pehle hi bohot late ho chuka hai, mujhe pehle mere ghar ja kar fresh bhi hona uske baad set par bhi jana hai. Aur rahi baad shooting ki to pehle hi mai bohot leaves le chuki hun.

Revati: Aap bas ek din off par thi.

AK: Whatever!

She gets her bag and starts arranging it.

AK: Kuchh bhi nahi hai isme. Kya lekar jaungi mai?

Revati: Di, mai kar deti hun.

AK: Rehne do, mai kar lungi. Kuchh kehna hai to bolo.

Revati: Driver bhi nahi hai aap kaise jaayengi.

AK: Maine cab book kar li hai. It will be here anytime. Aur tum in excuses ke alaawa kuchh bhi bol sakti ho. And yes, mai kuchh der baad Rajiv ko car lekar bhejungi, tum ghar ja kar apna aur Ahaan ka jo bhi samaan lana ho la lena.

Revati: Aur Di aapka?

AK: Mai shooting ke baad wahin jaungi to mai apna samaan wahan se la lungi.

Revati: Di, aaj 20 hai NGO ke account me paise transfer karna hai.

AK: Oh, no! In sab ke beech me to NGO ke baare me bhul hi gayi thi. Checkbook ghar par hi hoga mai Rajiv se check bhej dungi. Thanks yaad dilane ke liye. Aur kuchh?

Revati: Aaj aapka appointment hai.

AK: Kisse?

Revati: Dr. Mathew se.

Ahaan: Doctor se appointment kyun, Mumma?

They were shocked to listen Ahaan's voice as they weren't expecting him to listen it.

AK: Wo bas aise hi.

Ahaan: Mumma🤨

AK: Wo doctor mere bohot bade fan hai isiliye mujhse milne ke liye appointments fix karte rehte hai. Revati, tum unse keh dena ki aaj meri shooting hai to mai nahi aa sakti.

Revati: Di.....

AK: It's Ok, wo samajh jayenge. Tum keh dena, mai nahi aa sakti.

She gets a message of her cab being arrived.

Revati: Breakfast to kar lijiye jane se pehle.

AK: It's Ok. Mai late ho jaungi. Set par kuchh kha lungi.

She started to leave but turns when Ahaan calls her. He throws an apple towards her which she catches.

Ahaan: breakfast ke bina ghar se bahaar nahi jate.

AK: Ok boss! Aur haa, Maasi ko zyaada pareshaan mat karna aur medicines time par lena aur haa, rest bhi karlena. No games and no exertion!!

Ahaan: Mumma, aapko late ho raha tha na.

AK: Ja rahi hun, Bye!

He kisses her and she turns to leave...

AJ: Ms. Kapoor, listen...

AK: Mr. Jindal, I am really being late, Talk to you later.

AJ: But...
She leaves.

AJ: Ye ladki kisi ki sunti kyun nahi.

Dadi: Revati beta tumne use roka kyun nahi?

Ahaan: Dadi, AJ uncle, Mumma is on work mode to wo aise hi behave karti hai. Hai na Maasi?

Revati: Ha.

AJ: Work mode?

Ahaan: Ha, work mode matlab Mumma ko set ke alaawa kuchh nahi dikhega aur na hi koi excuse sunayi dega. Kaam se pehle kuchh nahi.

Dadi: Par apni sehat ka to dhyaan dena hoga na.

Ahaan: Kya hua Mumma ko?

AJ: Kuchh nahi, wo breakfast nahi kiya na usne isiliye Maa ne aisa kaha.

Ahaan: Oh, Ok. Mai rest karne ja raha hun. Arya to phir se so bhi gayi.

AJ: Ok.

He leaves to his room.

AJ: Revati, mujhe us NGO ke baare me poochna tha.

Revati: Di ne wo NGO 4 saal pehle banaya tha. Us me rehne wale bachhe di ki zindagi hai. Wo koi normal NGO nahi hai, wo Di ka ghar hai, wo ghar jis me Di ka dil basta hai, jahaan unki khushiyan rehti hai.

AJ: Mai kuchh funds....

Revati: Achha hua ye baat aapne Di se nahi poocha.

AJ: Kyun?

Revati: Kyunki wo seedha mana kar deti.

AJ: Lekin problem kya hai?

Revati: Di ne aaj tak us NGO ko akele sambhala hai. Karan ne bhi bohot baar Di se is baare me baat ki lekin unhone mana kar diya.

AJ: Any specific reason?

Revati: Wo Di ka apna ghar hai, wo Di ke apne bachhe hai, unke apne bhai behen hai. Di ne kabhi unhe anaath(orphan) nahi samjha aur na hi kisi ko un par taras kha kar unki madad lene ke liye tayar huyi. Aksar log aise bachhon par sympathy dikha kar unki help ke liye saamne aa jate hai lekin kabhi unke dukh ko samajhkar unke saath reh kar use door karne ki koshish nahi karte. Aur Di ko ye baat bilkul bhi nahi pasand. Isiliye wo pehle hi in sab ke liye mana kar chuki hai.

AJ: Baat to uski sahi hai lekin phir bhi we can try for once.

Revati: Wo nahi maanne wali. Lekin agar aap chahte hai to aap baat kar sakte hai.

AJ: Ok. I will talk to her.

EVENING,

AK'S ROOM,

AK has already returned from her shoot and was arranging her clothes in the wardrobe when Revati comes to her.

Revati: Di, ye rahi aapki saari medicines.

AK: Thankyou!

Revati: Di!

AK: Bolo kya hua.

Revati: Aap kal se pareshaan hai sab thik to hai na.

She gets thinking.

Revati: Di aap mujhse share kar sakti hai.

AK: Karan ne kaha ki mujhe sab sach bata dena chahiye.

Revati: Use kaise pata??

AK: Use kuchh nahi pata bas usne mujhse kaha ki jo bhi baat hai mujhe wo bata dena chahiye.

Revati: Dekha jaye to wo sach hi keh raha hai na.

AK: Tum bhi aisa keh rahi ho. Tum jaanti ho na ye sach saamne nahi aa sakta.

Revati: Lekin Di ek na ek din kisi bhi tarah sach saamne aa hi jayega na. Isiliye usse achha ye hoga ki aap hi us sach ko sab ke saamne le aaye.

AK: Nahi Revati, Mai ye sach Ahaan ko nahi bata sakti.

Ahaan: Kounsa sach Mumma?

They both look at the door to find AJ standing with Arya and Ahaan.

AK: Ahaan, aap upar kyun aaye? Aap ko seedhiyan chadhne se mana kiya hai na maine.

She spoke trying to divert the topic.
Ahaan: Mumma, AJ uncle mujhe aur Arya ko lekar aaye. Mai khud chal kar nahi aaya. Aur aap bataiye ki aap kounse sach ki baat kar rahe the.

Revati: Ahaan wo Mumma aapse ek sach chupa rahi hai.

AK was hell shocked as she feared that Revati would spill the truth which didn't went unnoticed by AJ.

Ahaan: Kounsa sach?

Revati: Ye sach ki...

Ahaan: Kya?

Revati: Ki aap ek week tak school nahi jayenge.

AK exhaled her breathe which she didn't knew she was holding for so long.

Ahaan: Kyun?

Revati: Kyunki doctor ne aapko rest karne ke liye kaha na. Jab aap aur Arya thik ho jayenge, tab aap donon school jayenge.

Ahaan: It's Ok, Mumma. Mai achhe se padhayi karunga aur har baar ki tarah is baar bhi first aaunga.

AK: Good! Lekin aap log upar kyun aaye?

Ahaan: Mumma, AJ uncle mere liye new cupboard lekar aaye. Mera saara samaan usme rakhna hai.

AK: Chaliye mai kar deti hun.

Ahaan: Ham sab saath me karenge.

AK: No, you will rest.

Ahaan: Ok, mai sirf dekhunga.

AK: Chaliye.

Revati, Arya and Ahaan left and when She was about to follow them, AJ stops her.

AJ: Tum sach me kuchh chhupa rahi ho na usse.

AK: None of your business.

AJ: Tum kabhi kisi se seedhe se baat nahi kar sakti kya? Ya to aise tedhe jawaab deti ho ya phir jhoot bolti ho.

AK: Nahi kar sakti. Agar aapko itni hi problem ho rahi hai to aap baat hi mat kariye na.

AJ: Mai bhi koi mara nahi ja raha hun tumse baat karne ke liye. Mai to bas itna chahta tha ki tum us bachhe se itne jhoot na bole ki baad me tumhe pareshaani ho.

AK: Pareshani mujhe hogi na to mai sambhal lungi. Wo mera beta hai to mai handle kar lungi. Aapko apni naak beech me ghusane ki zaroorat nahi hai. Isiliye aapki naak itni lambi hote ja rahi hai.

AJ: Meri naak mere paas hi hai, aur lambi bhi nahi huyi hai.

AK: Ha, haa, mujhe to dikh hi raha hai.

AJ: Tum kuchh.......

Their argument came to halt when they heard Arya and Ahaan calling them from downstairs.

ARYA'S ROOM,

AK and Revati were arranging his clothes and all other things in the cupboard while AJ was sitting on the bed with Arya and Ahaan sorting out their toys. Ahaan was keeping some of his toys aside from which a spherical box was about to fall off the bed but before it could fall AK holds it in time.

AK: Ahaan, kitni baar kaha hai aapse ise sambhaal kar rakhiye.

Ahaan: Sorry Mumma.

AK: It's Ok. Agli baar se dhyaan se rakhiye.
Ahaan: Mumma, aap ise apne paas kyun nahi rakhte.

AK: Ye mera nahi aapka hai Ahaan, isiliye ise aap hi rakhenge. Lijiye.

Ahaan: Mumma, aapne kaha tha ki wo box itna bada isiliye hai kyunki aise do sets the, aur ek kahaan hai.

She gets thinking about his words but his call bring her back to her senses.

Ahaan: Mummaa!!

AK: Haa, Wo doosra set bhi aapke paas jald aa jayega, aapki Mumma uske liye bohot mehnat kar rahi hai.

Ahaan: Wo kahin kho gayi hai kya?

AK: Bas chhup gayi hai, kisi ke saamne nahi hai. Lekin aap tension mat lijiye aapki Mumma use aapke paas jald layengi aur sab ek kar dengi.

Ahaan: Ok. I will be waiting for it.

DINING ROOM,

Everyone was having dinner and then Dadi clears her throat to grab everyone's attention.

Dadi(to AK): Beta, kal to teri shokting nahi hai na.

AK: Nahi, wo kal Maha Shivratri hai na usi ki chutti hai.

Dadi: Mai janti thi isiliye pehle se hi sab intezam karwa liya tha.

AK: Intezaam? Kis liye?

Dadi: Kal subah hamare ghar me Maha Shivratri ki puja hogi.

AJ: Wo to har saal hoti hai na, Maa.

Dadi: Tu pehle meri poori baat sunega.(he nods) Maine Pandit ji se baat ki thi, Bachhon ke suraksha ke liye ek pooja rakhne ke liye. Unhone kaha ki kal ka mahurat sahi rahega. Isiliye shaam ko pooja rakhi jayegi.

AK: Thankyou Dadi. Maine to socha hi nahi tha aur aapne kar bhi diya.

Dadi: Tere liye kuchh bhi meri bachhi. Aur khaane ke baad mere kamre me aa jana, tujhse kuchh kaam hai.

AK: Ji zaroor.

DADI'S ROOM,

AK comes to her room and finds Dadi arranging some clothes and jewellery on the bed. She knocks on the door.

Dadi: Andar aa ja, ye sab karne ki zaroorat nahi hai tujhe. Kabhi bhi aa sakti hai tu.

AK just smiles in return.

Dadi: Ye tere liye.

She hands her a saree and a box of jewellery to her.

AK: Dadi, lekin ye sab...

Dadi: Tu Dadi bulati hai na mujhe(she nods) to mere taraf se tere liye ek tohfa samajh bas. Kal hamare ghar ki pehli puja hai tere saath to itna to kar hi sakti hun na.

AK: Lekin maine to pehle bhi pooja ki hai na.

Dadi was some what shocked as she thought that she was really Guddan.

AK: Pehle din aate hi aarti ki thi na maine.

Dadi: Wo to bas aarti thi, ye puja hai jo tu karegi.

AK: Aapki bahu ke hote huye puja mai kyun karungi. Mai to bas baaki sadasyon ki tarah us pooja ka ek hissa rahungi.

Dadi: Jaisa tu samjhe, lekin ye pehen kar puja me aana. Mujhe achha lagega.

AK: Ji zaroor.

Dadi kisses on her forehead and AK leaves to her room.

CHAPTER 31

AJ was sleeping peacefully but his sleep was disturbed with some annoying sounds of metal contacts. It was like someone was hitting a metal with a hammer or something hard. He was forced to get out from his deep slumber and move towards the source of the voice. He detected that the sound was coming from none other than the room next to his. He entered the room rubbing his eyes to remove his sleep.

AJ: Kya laga rakha hai subah subah. Kahan ho tum?

He looked around the room but he couldn't find her then he again heard the sound which was coming from the washroom. He peeked into the washroom as the door was opened. He found her standing on the stool and murdering the shower. It was indeed not murdering but mending but from what she was doing it looked like she was murdering it.

AJ: Kya problem hai yaar tumhari??? Aur kuchh kaam nahi kya tumhe? Roz subah ek naya drama shuru rehta hai tumhara. Kabhi apna sar patakti ho to kabhi is shower ka patak rahi ho.

AK: Aap meri chhodiye, apni bataiye. Aap ki problem kya hai?? Mai kuchh bhi karun aap beech me aa jate hai. Aur kya haan? Aise to bohot perfect aur discipline wale bante hai. Aise kaise ek ladki ke kamre me bina permission ke aa gaye aap. Kamra chhodiye seedha washroom ke andar ghus kar khade ho gaye hai aap. Sharam hai ya nahi aapko?

AJ: Tum to ye sab baatein na hi karo to behtar hoga. Jo khud kisi ke kamre me uska wardrobe bina uske permission ke khol leti hai to mai kya hi kahun.

AK: Aapko kuchh kehne ki zaroorat bhi nahi hai. Aur ye kya apne zamane ka shower lagaya hai kya? Paani hi nahi aa raha hai isme.

AJ: Itna bada bathtub hai, ye bucket bhi hai, phir bhi tumhe shower se hi nahana hai?

AK: Ha, to aapko koi problem? Agar aap ise theek nahi kar sakte na to kripya karke yahaan se chale jaye. Mai apna kaam khud kar sakti hun.

AJ: Tum apna kaam to kar rahi ho lekin doosron ki neend kharaab kar rahi ho. Hato, do mujhe mai kuchh karta hun.

AK: Kuchh karne ki zaroorat nahi hai, mai kar rahi hun.

She agains starts hitting it which was irritating him. He had no choice but to stand and look at her so that she don't destroy other things rather than mending one. She was hitting, rotating its panel and doing all that she could do and suddenly water comes out of it and wets her face which results in closing her eyes and falling from the stool due to the force of water splashed. Before she could fall on the floor and hurt herself a pair of strong arms grips her into his arms. She made her stand straight and now they both were wet because of the flowing water. She slowly opened her eyes to find him few inches away from her face, his hands gripping her waist and her hands holding his shoulders to maintain balance. They both were lost in each other's eyes which were speaking thousands of emotions which they have towards each other. They both came out of their trance at once and looked away avoiding each other's gaze. He immediately turned off the flow of water from the shower and left her room.

AJ(in his mind): Kitni baar khud ko ye yaad dilana hoga ki wo Guddan nahi hai.

Everyone were busy in the preparations for the puja. AJ comes downstairs and was checking everything.

Dadi: Lalla, idhar aa. Mera ek kaam karde.
AJ: Ji, boliye Maa.
Dadi: Ja, use bula kar la. Thodi der me puja shuru karni hai.
AJ: Kise Maa?
Dadi: Guddan ko, aur kise.
AJ: Maa, wo Guddan nahi hai.
Dadi: Shuru kardi na tu ne apni behas. Jitna kaha hai utna kar bas.
AJ: Mai Revati se keh deta hun, wo chali jayegi.
He was avoiding to meet her or fall in a situation with her which would make him lose control over himself and make himself embarrassed.
Dadi: Mujhe Revati se kaam hai, tu ja kar use bula.
AJ: Maa....
Dadi: Tu ja raha hai ya apni Budhi Maa se kaam karwana chahta hai.

Her emotional blackmailing succeeded and he leaves to her room to summon her. He knocks on the door and waited for her permission.

AK: Jo bhi hai Aa jao.

He entered inside and suddenly turned towards the door seeing her. She was only wearing the blouse of her saree and black pants.

AJ: Jab tum ready hi nahi thi to andar kyun bulaya.
AK: Mujhe kya pata tha ki wo aap hai. Mujhe laga ki Revati hai isiliye maine bula liya.
AJ: Jo bhi ho mai ja raha hun. Maa ne sirf tumhe bulane ke liye bheja tha. Puja shuru hone wali hai jaldi aa jao.
AK: Neeche to mai tab jaungi na jab ye saree pehnungi. Mujhse nahi pehni ja rahi hai ye.
AJ: Tum to aise bol rahi ho jaise aaj tak kabhi saree pehni hi nahi.
AK: Ha, nahi pehni na.
AJ: Us din party me salwar kameez pehen kar ghum rahi thi na tum.
AK: Haa...nahi. Saree pehni hai maine lekin kabhi khud se nahi pehni na. Mere designers aur stylists rehte hai hamesha mujhe pehnane ke liye lekin aaj to mai kisi ko bula bhi nahi sakti.
AJ: Is ka matlab aaj tak tumne kabhi khud se saree hi nahi pehni?
AK: Pehni na. Jaise 2 minute noodles hote hai na waise 2 minute sarees bhi hote hai. Blouse pehno, skirt pehno aur uska pallu attached rehta hai. Ab Dadi ne to mujhe 12 meter wali saree di hai to isko kaise pehnu mai.
AJ: 12 meter ki nahi hai ye saree, 5,6 meters ki hogi aur itna bhi mushkil kaam nahi hai saree pehanna. Pehen lo khud se.
AK: Aap mardon ko kya, dhoti nahi pehenni padti na. Apni marzi se ye pant,jeans aur pata nahi kya kya pehente hai. Par ham aurton ko to saree hi pehenna hai. Aur agar itna hi aasaan kaam hai na to help kar dijiye meri.
He remembered how Guddan used to say the same to him everytime while she used to wear saree and find it difficult in handling it. Seeing him in his own thoughts, she thought him to tease that he was easily defeated by her.
AK: Hogayi na bolti band jab baat khud par aa gayi to. Aaye bada mujhse panga lene. Itni hi aasan hai to madad kar dete meri.
AJ: Thik hai as you wish. Pehle wo under skirt pehno.
She wears it above her pants as she would be comfortable in that.
AJ: Then tug your saree in it for a single round.
He was instructing her without even looking at her.
AJ: Jitna pallu lena hai wo length saree apne shoulder par rakho after a turn.
She did it but exactly reverse.
AJ: Ab jitna saree bacha hai uska pleats banao.
She was doing it but she failed miserably as it was difficult for her to handle the smooth fabric.
AK: Nahi ho raha hai. Aap kar dijiye na.
He reluctantly turns to face her and was shocked to see her completely rolled up inside the saree.
AJ(mumbling): Ye ladki poori pagal hai.
AK: Kuchh kaha aapne?
AJ: Nahi.
He goes infront of her and removes the pallu which was covering her chest without looking at her. She suddenly looked at him shocked.
AK: Aise kya dekh rahi ho mujhe. Pehle khud ko dekhlo. Poori lipti huyi ho isme.
He averts his eyes from her body and keeps the pallu properly on her left shoulder and started making pleats without looking at it. After making neat pleats, he handsover it to her carefully.
AJ: Tug it and secure it with a safety pin.
She does so and then the pallu again left her shoulder. He wasn't looking at her but she looked at him after it fell.
AK: Iska kuchh kariye.
He then looked at her figuring out what she said. He looked at the pallu and then understood the matter. He took it and made pleats of that. He handed it to her but she wasn't able to do it. So he took the safety pin from her and started pinning the pallu. When he was doing so a voice disturbed them.

Revati: Di, I am so sorry, Dadi ne.....
She entered the room apologizing for her late arrival as AK called her to help with the saree. She immediately stopped her words and turned around witnessing the couple so close to each other. As AJ was shocked to see Revati, he unintentionally pricked the sharp point of the pin into her shoulder.

AK: Aahhh!!
AJ: I am sorry!
He immediately pinned it and moved away from her.

Revati(still not looking at them) : Lagta hai aapko meri help ki zaroorat nahi hai. Mai neeche ja rahi hun mujhe kuchh kaam hai.

She hurried out of the room grinning mischievously. AJ also left the room feeling embarrassed.
AK starts doing her makeup and hair.

Dadi: Kahan reh gaya tha tu. Ek kaam kaha tha wo bhi tu nahi kar sakta.
Seeing Dadi scolding AJ, Revati goes to her.
Revati: Dadi, unhe kuchh mat kahiye. Wo Di ke saath ek bohot hi important kaam me busy the.

Listening that, Dadi smiles and goes to the mandir to check the preparations for the last time.

AJ: Kya keh rahi thi tum?
Revati: Maine to kuchh nahi kaha. Aap hi to Di ke saath busy the.
AJ: Mai to bas.......
Revati: Maine dekha aap kya kar rahe the. Door to lock kar lena tha na.
AJ: Revati!!!(he said glaring her)

She immediately ran from there and bumped into someone.

Revati: Tum!!!
Karan: Kyun, mai nahi aa sakta kya?
Revati: Aa sakte ho, lekin bulaya kisne tumhe?
Dadi: Maine.
Revati: Dadi aapne ise bulaya. Lekin kyun?
Karan: Tumhe itni problem kyun ho rahi hai.
Revati: Mujhe kyun problem hogi.
Dadi: Ab ye tumhara dost hai to maine bula liya. Koi pareshani ki baat hai kya.
Revati: Ye mere dost nahi hai, jo bhi hai Di ke hai. Mujhe koi farak nahi padta. Dadi, mujhe kuchh kaam hai mai thodi der me aati hun.
Dadi: Aa beta tu baith. Waise tum yahaan kahaan reh rahe ho?
Karan: Mera ek bachelor friend rehta hai yahaan, Apne job ke liye. Mai usi ke saath rehta hun.
Dadi: Tum use bhi lekar aate na.
Karan: Dadi, wo Christian hai aur aaj uske church me koi meeting hai to wahaan gaya hai.
Dadi: Koi baat nahi.
Karan: AK kahaan hai? Kahin dikh nahi rahi.
Dadi: Ye bachhe bhi na. Pehle Lalla ko bheja tha use bulane, phir Revati ko. Donon waapas aa gaye lekin wo abhi tak nahi aayi. Tayaar ho rahi hogi. Aati hi hogi.

Just then everyone see her descending the stairs handling her saree.

She goes to Dadi and Dadi kisses her forehead.
Dadi: Bohot pyaari lag rahi hai meri Bachhi.
AK: Ab aapki choice hai to achhe hi lagenge na.
AK(to Karan): Tum, ab aaye ho?
Karan: Tumse to jaldi hi aa gaya. Tum to is ghar me bhi reh kar mujhse late aayi ho.
AK: Whatever!!
Karan(whispering): Teekhi mirchi lag rahi ho. Hot and spicy.
AK(whispering): Sahi kaha. Isliye door rehna warna tumhe problem na ho jaye meri hotness aur spiciness se.
Karan: Kya yaar tum bhi. Thoda sa flirt bhi karne nahi deti ho jab jaanti ho ki kuchh nahi hone wala.
AK: Bhagwaan ka naam lo aur pooja karo unki aaj ke din. Ye faaltu ke kaam to roz hi karte ho.
Karan: Bhagwaan ka naam bhi roz leta hun mai.
Ahaan comes there and jumps on Karan excitedly and he picks him up in his arms.
Karan: Kaisa hai mera champ.
Ahaan: Bilkul mere hero jaisa.
AK: Achha ji, Mumma ko bhool gaye.
Karan: Mumma to hamesha saath rehti hai to bhoolne ki koshish karo tab bhi nahi bhool sakte.
AK: Kabhi to apni filmy dialogues ghar par chhod kar aaya karo.
Karan: Ye kahan se filmy lag raha hai tumhe. Jo Fact hai wahi to kaha maine.
AK: Tumm......
Ahaan: Aap donon phir se shuru ho gaye na. Mumma, you are looking very beautiful (he said kissing her cheek)
AK: Aap bhi handsome lag rahe ho mere prince.(she returns his kiss)
Ahaan: Ye dress na mujhe AJ uncle la kar diye same unke jaisi.

She looks at it and then at AJ who was at a distance doing some work.

Ahaan: Wo bhi handsome lag rahe hai na, Mumma?
She didn't knew what to answer so she was just silent but the silence was broken by Arya's voice.
Arya: Angel!!!
AK: My princess!!
She comes and kisses her forehead, then nose, then cheeks and then her chin.
AK: Are bas bas.
Arya: Meri Angel kitni beautiful lag rahi hai.
AK: Aawww!!! Meri princess bhi bohot beautiful hai.
Arya: Dadddaa!! Daddaaa!!!
She was calling him with a loud voice grabbing everyone's attention. AJ came to her worried.
AJ: Kya hua?
Arya: Cheating ki hai aapne!!
AJ: Maine kya kiya?
Arya: Aapne Ahaan ko same apni jaisi dress la kar di aur meri dress Angel ki tarah nahi hai.
AJ: Princess mai to....
Arya: Rehne dijiye aap. Das bahane bolenge.
AK: Arya, aisi baat nahi hai. Mujhe Dadi ne ye saree di hai aur is baare me aapke Dadda ko kuchh nahi pata tha. Isiliye ham donon ki dress ek jaisi nahi hai. Aur aap to abhi chote hai na to aap saree nahi pehen sakte.
Arya: Lekin mujhe bhi same aapke jaise dress pehenna hai.
AK: Next time jab mai shopping karungi na to pakka ham donon ke liye same dress kharidungi. I promise!!
Arya: Pakka Promise??
AK: Ha, Pakka promise.
Arya: Yaaayy, Mai aur Angel bhi same dress pehnenge.(she shows her tongue to Ahaan and AJ teasing them).
Dadi: Chalo bohot Masti ho gayi, pooja shuru karte hai.
AJ: Maa, abhi waqt hai, thodi der baad.
Dadi: Kyun?
AJ: Koi aane wale hai, unke aane ke baad pooja shuru karenge.
Dadi: Koun??
AJ: Maa.......
He was stopped by a voice at the door.

CHAPTER 32

"Revati!!!"

Everyone turn to see the source of voice which was coming from the door. They were shocked to see them after a long time. They entered inside and Revati immediately went to them. She took their blessings and hugged them crying.

Revati: Papa, Mummy!!!

Bhushan: Mat bula mujhe Papa. Nahi hun mai tera Papa aur ye teri Mummy nahi hai.

Revati: Aisa mat kahiye, please.

Bhushan: To kya kahun, tum to bhool hi gayi thi apne Mummy Papa ko, aaj nahi aate to tab bhi yaad nahi aate na.

Revati: Aisa nahi hai Papa.

Bhushan: To kya haan? Aise koi chhod kar jaata hai kya apne Mummy Papa ko.

Revati: Sorry!

Kaushalya: Tujhe kya lagta hai, ek sorry se kaam chal jayega(she pulls her right ear). Ghar chal tab bataungi tujhe mai.

Revati: Mummy chhodo dard ho raha hai.

Everyone were smiling witnessing the cute family scene except the one who was shocked to see them and was rooted on her place. She had tears in her eyes which was hard to control to not let them flow. She never ever thought of facing her father after changing her life because she never wanted to face him to disclose the truth of the death of his daughter who was still alive. She felt her teardrops flowing from her eyes but she immediately wiped them and plastered a fake smile on her face. Her heart started beating erratically after witnessing her father taking steps towards her and the next moment her heart stopped beating and she forgot how to breathe with the unexpected hug from him. She was feeling the warmth of her father's love after 6 years. Tears made their way out of her eyes and flowed down her cheeks. She hugged him back but after realising what she has done she immediately wiped her tears and broke the hug. She looked away not meeting his eyes. He cupped her face which made her look towards him.

Bhushan: Tum bilkul meri beti ki tarah ho.

She closed her eyes and let the tears to fall down. She wanted to hug him and cry her heart out in front of him and fall weak but only she knew how she controlled herself from not doing so. She faked a smile and replied him.

AK: Revati bhi yehi kehti hai ki mai bilkul uski Di ke jaisi hun, lekin afsos mai aapki wo beti nahi. Lekin doosri beti ban sakti hun agar aap chahe to.

Bhushan: Kyun nahi? Mujhe garv hoga apni beti par.

He said patting her head gently. She bent to take blessings from him.

AK: Aashirwaad dijiye. Meri Zindagi me badon ke aashirwaad ki bohot zaroorat hai.

Bhushan: Bachhe chahe Maa Baap se kitne hi door kyun na chale jaye unka pyaar aur aashirwaad hamesha unke bachhon ke saath rehta hai.

Meanwhile, Ahaan and Arya were witnessing the whole scene with utmost confusion. So, Ahaan went to his mother to clear all his confusions.

Ahaan: Mumma, koun hai ye?

AK: Ahaan, ye Revati Maasi ke Mummy Papa hai.

He took their blessings and they smiled.

Ahaan: Mumma, mai kya bulaun inhe?

AK: Nana aur Nani.

Ahaan: Nana, Nani!!!

He was happy to get new relations.

Arya: Angel, mai bhi inhe Nana, Nani bulaun?

She gave a nod and Arya was excited too.

She just smiled and stood infront of the shivling joining her hands, closing her eyes and praying.

AJ came to his father in law, to take his blessings but he moved back and looked away from him. He was hurt by this gesture of him but masked a smile infront of everyone. He admired him just like his own father and he too loved him as his own son but AJ has lost everything in his life just because of a small misunderstanding which held a great cost.

Meanwhile, they heard the voice of pandit asking everyone to assemble for the puja. Everyone assembled and AJ came forward to start the puja. She was about to leave from there when Panditji stopped her.

Panditji: Beta, joda saath me pooja karte hai.

AK: .Mai unke saath pooja nahi kar sakti.

Panditji: Kyun nahi kar sakte? Pati patni ka saath me har puja karna shubh hota hai aur unke rishte ke liye bhi achha hota hai.

AK: Sahi kaha aapne Panditji, Pati patni ka saath me puja karna lekin mai unki patni nahi hun. Aap unki patni se kahiye ki wo unke saath puja kare.

Panditji: Agar tum unki patni nahi tab bhi saath me hi puja karo.

AK: Aap aise kyun keh rahe hai Panditji?

Panditji: Kyunki Bhagwaan aisa chahte hai.

AJ: Kya?

Panditji: Haa, agar wo nahi chahte to kya tum donon ko apne saamne ek saath khada karte.

AK: Lekin Panditji.....

Panditji: Samay nikla ja raha hai puja shuru karte hai.

They both unwillingly stood together and started doing puja. There was one person who was very happy witnessing them together who was none other than Dadi.

The puja was almost completed without any hindrance but suddenly AK felt something on her feet. She ignored it thinking that it was her saree which was troubling her but she felt that again for some more times. At first, she just jerked her saree but the scene infront of her eyes made her numb. She immediately held AJ'S left arm in a tight grip and he snapped open his eyes to glare her.

AJ: Shaanti se pooja nahi kar sakti kya tum?

She didn't even looked at him as she was busy gazing at her feet.

AK: Ss...ss...

AJ: Kya bol rahi ho, saaf saaf bolo.

AK: S...Saanp...Saanp.

AJ: Kya????

And he looked at her feet at which she was gazing at from the past few minutes.

AJ: Ye saanp yahan kahan se aaya?

His voice grabbed everyone's attention and they look at the couple who was standing shocked.

AK: Revati, bachhon aur Dadi ko lekar andar jaao.

Revati: Lekin Di......

AK: Maine kaha na jaao.

Revati took them into their room and locked it from outside.

AJ: Sab peeche hatiye.

AK: Aap kyun hamare paas khade hai peeche jaaiye.

She said to him but he was standing still at his place. He looked down as the snake has coiled his tail around his left leg.

AK: Ek mai kya kam thi jo is saanp ne inhe bhi saath me phansa liya.

AJ: Kishore, widlife helpline ko call karo.

Kishore: Jii.

The other people who came to attend the puja left to their houses. Both, AJ and AK were standing together as both their legs were entangled by the snake.

AK: Shivji, jitni badi bhakt mai Lord Krishna ki hun na, utni hi bhakti aapki bhi karti hun. Aap kyun kar rahe hai aisa mere saath. Ek baar saanp ka zeher kaafi tha mere sharir ke liye phir se daswane ka plan to mat banaiye. Please bacha liye. Om nama shivay! Om nama shivay!

AJ: Tumhe saanp ne pehle bhi kaata hai?

She just nodded her head as she was busy in praying for her life.

AJ: Jungle me rehti thi kya, oh, now I got it, Aadivasi(tribal people) ho na tum, isiliye to tumhare saath ye sab hota hoga.

She looked at him with wide eyes as he was being ungrateful to her because she had a snake bite just to save him.

AK: Aap hi ke wajah se.......

She was speaking when she realised that she was spilling the truth out. He looked at her with a confused face.

AK: Mera matlab hai ki, aap bhi bhagwaan ke saamne haath jod kar apni jaan ke liye prarthna kariye. Is baar koi nahi aayega aapko bachane.

He remembered when he was tied and Guddan saved him and instead she was bitten by the snake.

AJ: Is baar ka kya matlab hai?

AK: K..kya...kya matlab haan? Kuchh bhi to nahi. Aap samajhte hi nahi hai. Ek baat aapki clear kar deti hun, mai jungle me rehti nahi thi balki ab reh rahi hun. Ye aapka Jindal bhavan koi jungle se kam thodi na, isiliye dekhiye ye saanp pata nahi kahaan se aa gaya hai. Aur haan, mai to bach jaungi lekin aapko kaun bachayega.

AJ: Mai bach jaunga kyunki us saanp ko tum me zeher das kar poori satisfaction mil jayegi, mujh tak aane ki zaroorat nahi padegi.

He felt the snake tightening it's hold on his left thigh and then it's upper body turned around her bare waist which tickled her. She was moving but AJ held her to stand straight.

AJ: Hil kyun rahi ho? Seedhe khadi raho warna is saanp se tumhe koi nahi bacha sakta.

AK: Gudgudi ho rahi hai mujhe. Aaahh...aaah...

AJ: Chup raho. Aur hilna band karo.

She was trying hard to be still but couldn't. She glanced at Karan and the others who were standing at a distance looking at both of them.

AK: Tum kuchh karo na.

Karan: Is baar na bhagwaan ke alaawa tumhe koi nahi bacha sakta.

She looked at God's idol and prayed for their safety. They both were now facing each other. His hands were holding her arms and her hands were rested on his chest. Suddenly, the snake moved from her waist towards his back. Now, she could see the snake and was feeling more terrified than the snake being on her body. He was standing still but worried seeing her panic-stricken face. Before, she could be more terrified of the snake it coiled around her bare back.

AK: Achha hua, ye yahaan aa gaya.

AJ: Paagal to nahi ho na tum.

AK: Aap par use dekh kar mujhe zyaada dar lag raha tha.

He was shocked at her words. Was she relieved that he was out of danger or something else was running in her mind. Seeing him in his own thoughts she decided to clarify his doubt on her words.

AK: Zyaada dimaag lagane ki zaroorat nahi hai. Mujhe saanp dekh kar aur dar lag raha tha. Mujh par rahega to nahi dikhega na.

She stated half truth coz the other half truth he was assuming was correct. But she will never let it disclose or let anyone doubt on her.

AK: Aur waise bhi meri blouse ki dori uske gale ka phanda banne ke liye ready hai. Ham me se kisi ko wo dase isse pehle wo khud hi mar jayega.

AJ: Saanp ko dekha bhi hai tumne. Uske moti chamdi ko tumhare blouse ki dori se koi farak nahi padne wala. Uske liye wo ek dhaage ke baraabar hogi.

AK: Ye plan bhi flop.

The snake now moved towards her neck. It's head was moving on the left side of her neck. Everyone gasped at the scene. They were worried of the consequence, if the snake would bite there, there would be almost no chance of her survival. The snake licked the area with it's tongue where her pulse was beating. She looked at him with wide eyes and open mouth.

AJ: Calm down, kuchh nahi hoga.

But her heart beats were much faster than before and its vibration were attracting the snake more to that spot. She clutched his kurta in her fists and he tightened his hold on her waist. He started speaking to her to reduce her tension.

AJ: Tum to kehti thi ki tumhare paas dil hi nahi hai to phir ye dhadkane kahaan se aa rahi hai.

AK: Dil nahi hai par uski dhadkane to hai na, ab to shayad wo bhi nahi rahenge.

And then few tears dropped from her eyes.

AK: Agar mujhe kuchh hogaya to Ahaan ka khyaal rakhenge na aap?

AJ: Paagal ho gayi ho kya? Kuchh nahi hoga tumhe. Understand?

He wiped her tears and cupped her face. The snake again moved and flicked it's tongue.

AJ: Try to slow your heart beat.

AK: Huuh?? Mai kya apne haathon se control karti hun.

AJ: Relax karo, wo khud slow ho jayega. Snakes ka sense of vision low rehta hai, wo bas vibrations aur smell se sense karte hai aur tumhare pulse ke vibrations ke wajah se wo wahaan baar baar aa raha hai.

AK: Mere gale me saanp ka phanda pada hua hai aur mai relax karun.

Here, she wasn't ready to relax herself and the fast heartbeats were attracting the snake more towards her neck. He was trying to divert her attention but to no use. Seeing the snake again licking the spot, he decided to do something himself. He cupped her cheeks and then placed a soft kiss on her forehead. She was froze on her spot and lost all her senses. The next moment, the snake moved down her body and uncoiled it's tail from his body. Either it was help from the god or his kiss really had the power to make the snake to move away from them. The wildlife service arrived and they trapped the snake.

Everyone were relaxed but she was in her own world. His kiss on herself has erupted the volcano in her body. Being with him, talking to him and some other moments didn't bothered her but the kiss has really worked. She has longed for this love from the past 6 years and now she got it but not in an appropriate situation. One moment she was feeling the love and the other moment, she was feeling the emptiness which she had in these years and the reason for the both was only him. Not being able to hold the burden of her thoughts, her head landed on his chest and she was unconscious.

He patted her cheeks gently to try to wake her up but to no use. He lifted her in his arms and made her lay down on the sofa. Immediately, his mind ran the past scenes in front of his eyes. A different kind of fear ran inside him. He checked her feet, hands, neck, back and waist for any marks of the snake bite but didn't find any. He checked her nails to find any trace of poison effects but found none.

AJ: Call the doctor!!!

He was somewhat calm as he didn't find any reason which he could suspect for the snake bite but at the same time, he remembered the fear he felt while seeing Guddan lifeless on the hospital bed. And this time, his heart was responding in the same way but his mind was making it understand that it's just because of the same situation he had but with two different persons.

The doctor arrived and checked her. He informed them that it was just because of the shock and nothing more serious. Everyone felt relieved. After sometime, She opened her eyes to find everyone standing near her with tensed faces.

AJ: Are you fine??

He asked her but the moment she looked at his face ,she remembered the kiss and averted her eyes from him and closed it, trying to express that she wasn't ignoring him but relaxing herself. Few seconds later, she again opened her eyes and stared at the ceiling trying not to remember anything.

Revati: Di, aap thik hai na??

Karan: AK, say something. Are you fine?

She just nodded for their concern filled questions.

AK: Mai apne room me ja rahi hun, thoda rest karungi to better feel karungi.

She left to her room and locked herself inside the four walls so that no one could witness her feelings and emotions which she wants to hide from the people of this world.

REVATI'S ROOM,

Bhushan and Kaushalya were talking to Revati about everything which they had missed in these 6 years. They were interrupted by a knock on the door. It was Akshat.

AJ: Revati, jaao Maa bula rahi hai aur apni Mummy ko bhi saath le jao.
She nodded and left the room with her mother.
AJ: Papa,.....
Bhushan: Nahi, wo kehne ka haq aapne usi din kho diya tha jis din aapne meri beti ka haath chhod kar kisi doosri aurat ka haath pakad liya tha.
AJ: Papa, mai jaanta hun ki maine bohot galtiyaan ki hai aur aapka mujhse naraaz hona bhi sahi hai. Har baar maine galti ki hai lekin aapne aur Guddan ne har baar meri galti ko maaf kiya hai lekin is baar meri galti ki koi maafi nahi hai. Lekin jo saza mujhe bhagwaan ne di hai wo bhi mujhse bardaasht nahi. Chahe to wo meri jaan le lete lekin Guddan se doori mujhe bardaasht nahi hai.

Bhushan: Lekin is baat ko to nazar andaaz nahi kar sakte na ki unhone meri beti ko mujhse chheen liya hai jis ka kaaran aap aur aapka ye parivaar hai. Kitna bharosa kiya tha maine aap par ki maine apni donon betiyon ko aap ko saunp diya tha lekin us ek din ne mujhse meri donon betiyon ko door kar diya. 6 saalon baad aaj mujhe ek khushi mili hai apni ek beti ko paa kar lekin ek dukh ka pahaad bhi mere sar par hai. Mera dil to ye maanne ko taiyar hai hi nahi ki Guddan mujhe chhod kar chali gayi hai lekin jo sach dikh raha hai use andekha bhi to nahi kar sakta na. Bachpan se use apne palkon par bitha kar rakha tha maine lekin aapke saath shaadi hone ke baad use kaanton par chalna pada. Lekin phir bhi usne wo khushi khushi kar diya sirf aapke aur aapke parivaar ke khaatir. Lekin kabhi bhi uski kisi bhi koshish ko saraaha nahi gaya. Har baar use beizzati sehni padi. Koi aisa pal nahi tha uska is ghar me jab usne apne aap ko saabit karne se apna ek kadam peeche rakha ho. Lekin phir bhi har baar use galat saabit kar diya jaata aur har baar use hi aapka aur aapke parivaar ka bharosa jeetna padta tha. Guddan ne itni kam umar me ek bahu, ek saas, ek patni ki saari zimmedariyan nibhayi aur usme safal bhi huyi. Lekin had to tab ho gayi na jab use apni hi mamta ka saboot dena pada. Ye saabit karna pada ki wo, ek Maa apne bachhe ki qaatil nahi hai. Ek baar soch kar dekhiye, agar koi aap par aisa ilzaam lagata to? Mujhe is dard ka ehsaas hai lekin aap nahi samjhenge. Agar aaj Guddan yahaan hoti to shayad uska dil itna bada hai ki wo aapko is baat ke liye bhi maaf kar deti lekin mai ek Pita hone ke kaaran aapko nahi maaf kar sakta. Mujhe mere dard ke saath, apne beti ke dard ka bhi ehsaas hai. Isiliye jo aapne kiya hai uske liye mujhse maafi ki ummeed to mat hi rakhiye.

He left the room without even listening to his reply. He was crying for the ill fate his daughter had.

DINING ROOM,

Everyone were on the dining table for the lunch but a seat was empty. Dadi was not feeling good to see the chair empty. It was none other than of AK's. So she asked a maid to summon her for lunch only if she is feeling well. The maid returned and said that she will be here within few minutes.

AK came and took her seat.

Dadi: Teri tabiyat ab kaisi hai?
AK: Mai thik hun Dadi.

She saw all the dishes on the table but didn't picked any of them as she didn't liked any of it. She just served some rice for herself and was playing with her spoon as she was least interested in eating the food present in front of her.

Ahaan: Mumma, wo real snake tha?
AK: Nahi bachha, wo ek toy thi.
Ahaan: To phir ab wo kahan hai?
AK: Wo jis ki toy thi na wo aakar use le gaye.
Arya: Angel, to aap us toy se kyun dar gaye the?
AK was left baffled with the question.
AK: Mai kahan dari thi? Sherni bhi bhala kisi saanp se darti hai kya!!
AJ left out a chuckle listening that as he remembered how she fell unconscious after the incident. AK glared him and tried her best not to burst out her anger on him.
Ahaan: Lekin Mumma.......
AK: Ahaan, bohot baatein karte hai aap. Lunch kariye.
Karan(whispering to AK): Ahaan ki Mumma wo sherni hai jo insaanon ko kachha chaba jaati hai lekin saanp, chipkali, cockroaches se darti hai. Right???
AK(whispering): Tumhara khana khane se pet bhar jayega ya mere taraf se bhi kuchh chahiye tumhe.
She said to him glaring him but he was unaffected by it. They were disturbed by a maid's voice.

Maid: Ma'am aapke liye call aaya hai.

She hands over the landline to AK.

AK(thinking): Mujhse baat karne ke liye kisi ne landline par call kyun kiya?

Ignoring her thoughts, she answered the call, excusing herself from the dining table. After ending the call, she returned back and handed the phone back to the maid.

AK: Mere room me mera phone hoga. Aap please la dijiye use.
She asked the maid and again took her seat.
AK: Revati, kisi ka call aaya tha?
She asked sternly.
Revati: Haa Di, aaya tha.
AK: Aur tumne mujhe batana zaroori nahi samjha.
Revati: Aap rest kar rahi thi......
AK(with a bit loud voice): To kya Revati? Mera phone switched off tha isiliye unhone tumhe call kiya taaki tum mujhe inform karo lekin tumn...........
Her sentence was cut by her phone's ringtone which the maid brought to her.

AK(on call): Aa rahi hun mai thodi der me.
She ended the call with a single sentence.
Ahaan: Mumma, aap kahin nahi jaayengi.
AK: Bas thodi der ki baat hai, mai waapas aa jaungi.
Ahaan: Nahin Mumma, aap hamesha aise hi karti hai. Ek din aap ghar par hai phir bhi aapko baahar jaana hai. Aap nahi jaayenge.
AK: Ahaan, baat samajhne ki koshish kariye, mera jaana important hai warna mai aaj ke din nahi jaati.
Ahaan: Mujhse bhi zyaada important to nahi hai na. Aap nahi jaayengi.
AK: Ahaan.....
Again her phone rang but before she could receive the call, Ahaan picked up the phone.
Ahaan: Inhone hi aapko bulaya hai na, mai inhe hi mana kar deta hun.
AK: Ahaan, phone waapas kariye mera.
He received the call ignoring his mother's words.
Ahaan: Aapne hi Mumma ko bulaya hai na to sun lijiye, Mumma kahin nahi jayengi. Aaj wo mere saath hi rahengi. Aap unse kisi aur din kaam kara lena. Abhi meri Mumma bohot busy hai.
AK: Ahaan, give back my phone.
She ordered him with loud voice. He handed her phone back to her.
AK(on call): Mai kal subah aa jaungi. Aaj shaam ko Ahaan ke liye puja rakhi gayi hai isiliye busy hun.
She ended the call and drank a whole glass of water to control her anger.

AK: Yehi baat maine kahi na, to aapko kya zaroorat thi kisi se is tarah baat karne ki, Ahaan?
Karan: Tum daant kyun rahi ho use?
AK: Ise daantna kehte hai? Mai samjha rahi hun ise.
Karan: To pyaar se bhi to samjha sakti ho na.
AK: Tum kuchh mat bolo. Ise laad pyaar de kar bigaad rahe ho tum.
Karan: Ab tum mujh par gussa kar lo. Sahi hai.
AK: Mai gussa kar rahi hun? Unbelievable!!!
She stood up from the chair and summoned the maid.
AK: Revati ke room me mera laptop hoga use lekar aa jaiye. Aur khaane ke liye kuchh fruits saath me le aaiye. Mai apne room me rahungi.
Ahaan was about to get up from his seat but was stopped by his mother's voice.
AK: Ahaan, complete your lunch and then leave.
He unwillingly made himself have the lunch because he knew his mother's anger wouldn't subside seeing his stubborn acts.

She left to her room and Ahaan too left for his room after completing his lunch. Karan followed Ahaan as he knew he would be upset seeing his mother's rude behaviour towards him.

Bhushan: Ye dikhti Guddan jaisi hai, lekin harkaton se to bilkul bhi nahi lagti.
Revati: Papa, aap zyaada mat sochiye. Di, aisi hi hai. Inka gussa naak par nahi sar par chadha hota hai. Aur jab aisa hua matlab inhe nahi dikhta ki saamne koun hai bas baras padti hai unpar.
Dadi: Lekin beta, khaane se kya naarazgi. Khaana to kha leti.
Revati: Khaane se naarazgi nahi hai balki naa pasandeedgi hai.
Dadi: Matlab?
Revati: Dadi, Di ko matar bilkul bhi nahi pasand. Aur aaj sab kuchh wahi bana hai. Matar ki puri, matar pulao, matar paneer, aaloo matar, gobi matar. Isiliye unhone kuchh nahi khaya.
Durga: To wo keh deti na, ham unke liye kuchh aur bana dete.
Revati: Ye, unka ghar nahi hai isiliye unhone kuchh nahi kaha warna ab tak poora ghar sar par utha liya hota.
Dadi: Lekin beta, khaane peene ke maamle wo apni ichha bata sakti hai na.
Revati: Aap log itni tension kyun le rahe hai unki. Wo chhoti bachhi to nahi hai na. Wo sab kuchh khud manage kar lengi. Aap log enjoy kariye.

Antara (whispering to Saru): Ab aayega na maza..
Saru: Kaise Antara ji?
Antara: Bohot achhi jamegi meri aur is heroine ki.
Saru: Aap kehna kya chahti hai? Aap paison ke liye Guddan ki hamshakal se dosti karengi?
Antara: Tum bewakoof hi rahogi. Meri usse dushmani me khoob jamegi. Ab to mujhe uske khilaaf use karne ke liye hathiyaar bhi mil gaya hai.
Saru: Hathiyaar? Kaisa hathiyaar? Arey, pehle nishaana to tay kar lijiye warna hathiyaar ka kya karenge?
Antara: Nishaana to mera kab se ready hai bas hathiyaar haath lagne ki deri thi.
Saru: Aap ye gol gol baatein kyun kar rahi hai. Mera dimaag gol gol ghumne laga hai. Aap seedhe seedhe bata dijiye na.
Antara: Mera nishaana hai uska beta Ahaan aur hathiyaar hai uska apna gussa.
Saru: Aap karne kya wali hai?
Antara: Karne ka to bohot kuchh kar chuki hun mai already. Lekin ab kisi aur cheez ki taiyaari karna hai.

AK'S ROOM,

AK was working seriously on her laptop while biting an apple. She was so focussed on her work that she didn't noticed when Karan entered her room.

Karan: Kya tha wo sab jo tumne neeche kiya?
AK: Kya kiya maine?
She asked him shutting her laptop down.
Karan: Ye kiska gussa kis par nikal rahi thi tum?
AK: Koi gussa nahi hai aur mai kisi par gussa bhi nahi kar rahi thi.
Karan: Pehle Revati par chillaya, phir Ahaan ko aur last me mujhe bhi nahi chhoda.
AK: Maine kisi par gussa nahi kiya.
Karan: Kiya tumne!
AK: Nahi kiya!
Karan: Tumne gussa kiya!!
AK: Shut up!!
Karan: Dekho phir gussa kar rahi ho. Arey yaar, jab Ahaan is the most important one for you phir kyun ye faaltu ka gussa sar par chadha kar rakhti ho tum.
AK: I agree, he is most important for me. Lekin kuchh kaam uske liye bhi karna important hai mujhe. Har baar uski zid ko lekar nahi baith sakti mai.
Karan: To ye baat tum use achhe se bhi to samjha sakti ho na.
AK: Achhe se? Aur kitne achhe se samjhaun use mai?
Karan: Ahaan bachha hai. He is just craving for your attention. Aise to har din tum shooting me busy rehti ho aur jis kisi din ghar par reh liya matlab kuchh kaam ke liye baahar chale jana hai tumhe. Kabhi uske saath time spend kar liya karo. He wants to......
AK: Ho gaya. Ahaan ke taraf se waqaalat karne pohonch gaye. Ab jaao. Enough of it!!
Karan: AK, listen to me.
AK: Karan, please leave.

He left the room because he knew that there is no use of talking to her when she acts an angry lioness.

After sometime, her anger cooled down and she realised that she was a bit rude towards Ahaan. So, she decided to talk to him and moved downstairs.

She went to his room but he wasn't there but only Arya was playing with her doll house.

AK: Arya, Ahaan hai kya?
Arya: Nahi Angel, wo yahaan nahi hai. Aap aaiye na mere saath kheliye.
AK: Abhi nahi baad me.
Arya: Ok.
She continued playing and AK left the room and went to Revati's room to check if he is there.

AK: Revati, Ahaan hai kya yahaan?
Revati: Nahi Di, Ahaan to yahaan nahi aaya.
AK: Tumne use kahin dekha kya?
Revati: Nahi, mai to kab se Mummy Papa ke saath hun. Kya hua koi problem hai kya?
AK: Nahi, kuchh nahi, bas usse baat karni thi. Tum ruko mai dekhti hun wo kahaan hai.

She searches for him all around the house ut couldn't find him.

"Ahaan, bachha kahaan hai aap?"
She yelled in the house so that if he hears her, he would come to her. Everyone gathered listening her call.

AJ: Kya hua?
AK: Ahaan, aap ke saath hai kya?
AJ: Nahi, apne room me hoga.
AK: Nahi hai, poore ghar me nahi hai wo. Sab jagah dhund liya use, kahin nahi hai.
AJ: Aise kaise kahin nahi hai, hoga yahin kahin khel raha hoga.
AK: Kaha na nahi hai.

AK(to the officers): Aap log kahaan the? Ahaan kab se nahi hai?
Officer: Ma'am hamara shift abhi start hua hai, jo officers hamse pehle the shayad unhe pata ho ki wo kahaan hai.
AK: To pata kariye na. Aur aap sab!! 8 ghante meri shakal dekhne ke liye yahaan aate hai kya? Jaakar dhundiye use kahaan hai wo.

AJ: Calm down, wo yahin hoga, tension mat lo.
AK: Aap ka na restaurant nahi, meditation center hona chahiye. Yoga classes rakhne chahiye aapko to.
AJ: Kya bakwaas karte rehti ho tum!
AK: Aur nahi to kya tension ke time par "Relax, calm down" ka shlok shuru kar dete hai. Aap kariye apna "breathe in, breathe out " wala exercise. Mai kapalabhati karke hi thik hun.
Revati: Di, AJ sahi keh rahe hai. Shaant ho jaiye, BP badh raha hai aapka.
AK: Aadha BP to inka shakal dekh kar hi badh jaata hai mera. Tension to door ki baat hai.
Revati: Di, paani pijiye.(she handsover a glass of water to her)
Sab dhund rahe hai na mil jaayega. Aap baithiye shaanti se.

Saru(thinking): Agar ye sab Antara ji ka kiya dhara hai na to wo to gayi. Inka gussa to AJ se 1760 guna zyaada hai. Bhooki sherni lag rahi hai, kachha chaba jayengi unhe to. Jaldi se Antara ji se baat karna hoga.
